One pin is pretty much the standard. So in fact, I do not breif my customers on the two pin cypres. Other than that I think I do spend quite a bit of time with each customer explaining their set-up and answering questions. Thank you very much.     I recommend every 500 jumps to my customers. Winter is a good time to give it the once over.... twice... Unless there are other factors involoved: Hard openings Water Landings Wraps Jumping in adverse conditions Opening problems Links/Slinks should be visually inspected at the begining of each jump week/end. Feel your slider grommets if you notice sudden wear. Always give your canopy the once over while packing it. Glance at your bridle attachement point. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies!     Is your student gear a "Throw Out" system? or a "Rip Cord" system? That would be the only factor to you now using your new gear when it arrives. If you are trained on a student rip cord system, you would have to transition to a hand deploy or throw out. When you are cleared to solo status, you no longer need that JM handle.     Well. Jet isn't 4 yet and she has made the trek across the pond about 7 times now. I have taken her in my belly, as an infant, as a toddler and now as a hellian! There are tricks to the trade. Like how to set up her nap schedule in advance to limit jet lag. Feeding schedules. What seats to request. What foods to bring. In flight entertainment. What airlines to choose also helps. Simple things just make the trek a lot easier. This trip was really easy. We flew KLM on the 777. They have individual DVD systems loaded with cartoons, games and kids videos. She didn't even want out of her seat! PM me if you want.     I think we do donate for our own. The outpouring after 911 was in line with the Tsunami relief efforts. And I believe that there was plenty of donations after the hurricanes in FL. At one point we were strolling along. I was busy looking the other way and she said, "Mom! That girl is naked!" I blurted out, "Oh. That's one of those Dutch lingere stores.
