Maybe he meant J5? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

A ZP canopy will last longer than 1000 jumps even in the desert. Most ZP parachutes will last well over 1000 jumps. Around the 2000 mark before they come into question. Even then some will still be airworthy, however the perfomance will be compromised. Make sure you change the line set soon and watch the trim as it ages. You should have many, many fun jumps to look forward to with this parachute. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

How to copyright and sell tshirt? (Not kidding)
GravityGirl replied to WrongWay's topic in The Bonfire
You can't copyright or trademark a T-shirt, but you can with a Logo. Even if you try to trademark your idea for a t-shirt, it can still be copied. PM me if you want a more indepth answer. I've run the gammet with lawyers, and trademarks, etc. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -
True. F111 can land you softly. It just a different beast. It should not be loaded the way a ZP is. If you are going to jump an F111, I would not recommend exceeding 1:1 wing loading. Also they fewer jumps on it the better. Under 500 is good. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Saying how you feel: maturity, or desperation?
GravityGirl replied to kelel01's topic in The Bonfire
I have a bad habit of telling everyone how I feel. By the way Kelly, I think you are hot! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -
Thanks a heap Gareth. I KNOW that Sweden is in Europe or I wouldn't be able to spend that funny Euro money there. But I wasn't sure if Scandanavians really wanted to be lumped in with y'all. And besides. Half of my education was in Europe. Italy IS in Europe, right? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

slowing down before touching down any ideas
GravityGirl replied to bendover's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Did it have the mod done? Did you (hopefully) tell the buyer? I mean. I'm just curious.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -
You know! That just blows! Your first pond swoop and you have stills! WTF? Granted, I've only touched water a handfull of times, but it was back before there were 1 million digital cameras at the dz! No proof. Guess it never happened. By the way VDS, you look phat in that picture! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

slowing down before touching down any ideas
GravityGirl replied to bendover's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
My unprofessional opinion without all the details is.... ....you are exceeding your sweet spot. Maybe get back on that Crossfire and fly the shit out of it.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -
And it even swooped the pond and got water (beer!) this weekend. Congrats again VDS... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Marine layer (cloud/fog) in N. California
GravityGirl replied to verticalflyer66's topic in The Bonfire
Full altitude on Saturday. Sunday between 4.5 and 3. Lots of pond swooping. Even Connie busted out and had to change her sock! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -
What did you give up for skydiving

Yea. That's what I thought. I found her at Skydive Lake Tahoe. Immaculate conception of course. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -
karama......from death skydivers?
GravityGirl replied to medusa's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Well. Don't get too technical on the term Karma. But a couple things: Buy used gear to help out the family. Pay a fair price. Seeing the canopy of an old friend in the air feels good to me. Having the wing of someone near and dear over my head... I don't know. It just seems to keep the spirit alive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -

GravityGirl replied to medusa's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I've jumped lots of dead peoples gear. I think it's good Karma. Gravity Gear! -
Both N. Yellow and Orange are highly visible colors. Both go great with Royal Blue. Some racing stripes with either color would be cool. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

There are no stupid questions, except the ones you don't ask. Keep up the good work! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

My best advise for you is to go down to your local DZ and start learning to pack now. That will give you some extra income and bartering power! Don't worry about gear right now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Is this a good rig/price for a beginner?
GravityGirl replied to nicodecker's topic in Gear and Rigging
My two cents: #1. That is a fair/good price for that rig. #2. Based on the information you have provided, I would recommend you start on t 210 sq. ft. main at minimum. My best advise for new jumpers is to determine what YOUR needs are BEFORE you shop gear. Inappropriate gear is never a good deal. So sort out what you need first. Arm yourself with that knowledge, then go out there and get you some gear! PM me with any questions you might have. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -
I preferred hanging out with "not so gentlemen"! I was just having flash backs that's all. Missin' Seth. And what the hell happened to Ed Trick????? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Fabian! Do I need to come over there for a packing lesson!?!? I'm looking for an excuse here. Help me out. Seriously. After about 50 jumps that slime tends to wear off a bit. Those first 50 jumps will build charactor. Suck it up! Or hire a packer. And don't worry. That thing is dying to get out of the bag. It will open! (Don't quote me.) Good luck! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
