  1. He lost the small hands demographic.
  2. Yep. Like that will influence the "poorly educated" voters that he (Trump) loves and who form the core of his support. I saw where Trump is going for the 18 to 49 demographic. IQ points, that is.
  3. From Romney's speech on Trump: "his promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University." I doubt that Romney will sway many people, though.
  4. This is reported to be the shooter's work phone, provided by his employer. The work one probably had nothing of interest on it anyway, but made a great excuse to try to set precedent. He had two personal phones and a laptop that he destroyed. https://theintercept.com/2016/02/26/farooks-iphone-is-probably-useless-even-the-police-say-so/
  5. An exchange from the comments on that article: ..Didn't know the IRS asked your religious preference ..When Trump said in that interview that he would like to bang his daughter the IRS figured he was a Christian.
  6. I take rushmc at his word that he is against all subsidies. I am against mortgage interest and charitable contributions being tax deductible, but I'm going to deduct them as long as the deductions are available to me.
  7. I'm in favor of some, when they can kick-start something that is possibly beneficial. Once things become a large enough business, they need to live or die on their own. I'm also against pretty much all IRS Schedule A deductions (at least those related to mortgage interest and charity), which I see as other forms of subsidy.
  8. The general takeaway is that those who lie less have already left the race, so lying must be pretty effective.
  9. It's interesting because - 1) He's been confirmed before 2) McConnell would be pushed to accept, because Obama calls their bluff 3) As soon as they get their political bluff called, the Democrats filibuster. had he not declined, 3) McConnell declares victory, having forced Obama to pick a Republican Governor.
  10. 2008 $57,211 Next up "There's no consensus that $56k is less than $57k. BTW 2015 minus 7years equals 2008 not 2011. Don't hate me, hate math. You are correct, that a lot of different "results" can be selected from that link Bill provided. 2008 was before the collapse, and we are not yet back to that peak, but we are up considerably from the bottom of the recession. I say "we", but pretty much nobody where I work has had a raise at all in the past 3 years. Company isn't doing well, but it is from management decisions 8-10 years ago, not the economy.
  11. I guess he can repeat his statement from a few weeks ago: "How stupid are the people of Iowa?"
  12. Yep. If he could just cry, maybe Glenn Beck would support him.
  13. Another quote from his book: “We should be free to make stupid choices if we want and then be allowed to experience the full weight of those choices."
  14. The requirements go beyond that. Something to do with her age at the time of birth (under 18 IIRC), and not having been continuously in the US for 5(?) years previously (required because she was a minor?). That info is likely a bit off, but close enough that you can find the info with a search.
  15. IMHO, after listening to much commentary, Cruz doesn't qualify as a natural born citizen. If he is still a contender half way through primary season, I expect there to be a legal challenge, so we will all find out. Probably coming from the governor of some state that doesn't want to let him on the ballot. He'd better get (and pass) that challenge before the Presidential election gets going, just as Clinton needs to get past any true legal issues (not just sleaze) before then, if she becomes the nominee.
  16. What monky said, plus never ever put anything down the garbage disposal. A trivial amount of bits is fine, but don't use it to grind up anything. Also, nothing that isn't light enough to float along the water stream should go down a drain. Coffee grounds shouldn't go in a sink, and tampons shouldn't go in a toilet. Sometimes it is easier (or only possible) to snake out a drain from the roof, through the riser pipe that is above each drain point on the sewer side of the trap.
  17. What does that involve? I'm guessing not pelvic exams.
  18. El nino is bringing the moisture, but it would be better snow at 1-2 degrees F cooler.
  19. ??? As I said, the linked article you originally posted was bullshit. The vessel locator site it referenced, and you posted, clearly says that it cannot detect ships more that ~30 miles from shore. Your ??? is just you trying to evade that fact, and shows you to be disingenuous. Satellite info (not just the shore based vesselfinder.com info) is available only by subscription, but here is a screen shot link for you: https://twitter.com/MarineTraffic/status/686933681387237376 Here, you can go subscribe: http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/p/satellite-ais
  20. I was thinking more like McCain + Palin, only even less appealing.
  21. Well, she never could keep on track when she needed to... Maybe Trump will pick her for VP.
  22. Yes, I agree, zerohedge.com credibility is sinking fast. There are many many ships in transit. The article is simply wrong. So must be https://www.vesselfinder.com/ Please post a link to something that shows many, many ships in transit. No, I am not arguing for the validity of either. You make your own decisions on that. I don't need another site. I can just quote the FAQ from your linked site: FAQ Why the vessel I am searching for is not visible on the map? The vessel is likely out of range. AIS technology range is about 30-50 nautical miles offshore.
  23. I cannot tell in that lighting, but his hat seems to be on backwards.
