Well there goes the marijuana grow business!
headoverheels replied to normiss's topic in Speakers Corner
I foresee the union tactic of anonymously reporting "offending growers" to the police when they don't get they don't get their way, just for the hassle factor. -
Only going downhill.

Low ferritin (stored iron) can also cause cramps and restless leg syndrome. If you are iron deficient anemic, and in your 50's, there is about 60% chance that you are bleeding internally, from stomach ulcer or from a colon tumor or something along that line. It doesn't take much -- a teaspoon of bleeding a day more than will double your requirement for iron. In my case, I didn't get much dietary iron, was donating blood, and taking Prilosec and calcium, and drinking tea and coffee, which all decrease absorption of iron. As Nightingale said, check with your doctor to see whether something is going on.

http://theworldteam.com/06TeamLeaders.htm http://theworldteam.com/06MediaHistory.htm People in the last paragraph of http://www.p3skydiving.com/info_BWC.php, plus others. WT has mostly been records, plus some international boogies, plus the annual Kaleidoscope dives and other events. These are for people already having big way credentials. P3 has big way camps for newbies, 100 way invitationals which have become more like camps (i.e., not as selective as in the past). These are good events to learn and practice bigway skills. They also do more exclusive events with intricate formations in the 40-way range, targeted at the open/advanced FS competitor type of jumpers.

Well, there are only about 20 other countries with enough C-130's active. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_C-130_Hercules_operators

It's like classical physics and quantum mechanics. Both have their application.

On the back to back stalls on formation loads at the American Boogie, the pilot was certainly informed. I haven't made that many jumps out of their PAC, but I never heard any rules at all, other than leaving 2 or 3 people up front until the chunk leaves.

Lots of opportunity to move from fraud to blackmail.

Hmm, I find this disturbing. http://www.fastcompany.com/1683302/iris-scanners-create-the-most-secure-city-in-the-world-welcomes-big-brother?partner=yahoobuzz

I wouldn't do that. I've never had a booty wear out since I started coating the bottoms/edges with Shoe Goo. I do take the booties off after landing, and put them on just before boarding.
-
I agree. I would favor getting rid of deductions for charitable giving also (if you've hit AMT, you have already lost that schedule A deduction). If you want to give, give. OTOH, it is one small place where the individual can control where some (effective) tax dollars go.

As part of a married couple, each of whom has significant income, I'm sure you are aware that filing as single would result in less tax than filing married joint, and filing married separate results in more tax. In most cases, including mine and probably including yours.
-
Not under present law. The states in which homosexuals couples can legally be married may tax them as married (CA and MA do), but for federal taxes they each file as single. In California, there is little to no difference in state taxes for two people with similar incomes, filing as singles or as married, so that is not of concern (MA may be different) For Federal taxes, couples that each have significant incomes pay substantially more tax filing as married than as two singles. If the prop 8 case rises to the Supreme Court, and the legality of same sexed marriages is nationally recognized, then the inconsistent tax treatment will go away.
-
Another specious example. If someone chooses to be married, they should have the same tax treatment as others who do so. There are tax benefits, and tax penalties, to being legally married.
-
... and other specious examples. Not at all -- I'm addressing the discrimination in the tax law, not what the money is spent on.
-
So, since my wife and I have to pay thousands more in federal taxes as a result of being married (not allowed to file as single), and homosexual couples do not, I suppose I have standing w.r.t. discrimination of the tax code.
-
Yeah, but like buses, most of them aren't headed anywhere you want to go.

You should have written "Boobies" in the thread title. You'd have a ton of replies. Maybe, if you aren't a booty man.

Are you responsible for someone else's crush on you?
headoverheels replied to Nataly's topic in The Bonfire
No. I'm divine, and crushes are to be expected, as tiresome as they may be. -
Now if they will change the Federal tax laws to require them to file as married instead of single, the dual-earner couples can take it up the ass like the rest of us.
