they gotta have a cute face, then the butt, then the boobs. if brains were a part of the body (ha, but it isn't really), i'd make that first (ok, maybe third).

What's your ave/max speed in a sit?
Vertifly replied to ECVZZ's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
if you're 200lbs and 5'0" then 169 is slow. if you're 200lbs and 6'5" then that is fast. for relative work purposes, it isn't too bad; just take it down a bit with a little practice. -
.000001% of them. that means that about a pinky-toe-nail of one of these people would be made of a skydiver

very refreshing indeed...thank you.

how big are they planning?

Vertifly replied to sunnydee123's topic in Events & Places to Jump
by the way, rumor has it that the fun jumping afterward will be mostly atmonauti. so practice up. a few of us will want to continue fun jumping; so worry not, unless you just don't want to jump with me. -
All is fair in Love and War they say... I have found this to be true. Never share your ammunition until you know you're sitting in the foxhole with an ally. Of course, all that this means is that you can't Love an ally, now, can you?

Project Horizon - but not officially invited....
Vertifly replied to sunnydee123's topic in Events & Places to Jump
many of the participants continue to jump after the big-ways are finished each day. given the fact that this will be a monstrosity of an event (RH-boogie, Easter boogie, and PH4), there will be talent swarming the place. it would be great to jump with you again so find me and we'll kick it large!!! plus, i'm sure that they'll be plenty of talent to get some jumps all day long. -
If you could only have one condom the rest of your life

made out of GOR-TEX you can keep getting laid because you can wash it. but then again, i may not feel anything. -
i received some really good advice on this once. lead in with your head and let the rest of your body follow. you can use your eyes to start. lay down on the floor or by the edge of your bed and look at the wall behind you. in the sky, you can do this by looking at the horizon (albeit upside-down) in the lying position. after you pick up some speed, the position will be set, then slowly bring your head back to up. if you bring your head too high, you may come out of the spot so do it slowly. after a few times, good old muscle memory with be in your favor. it may take about three jumps, but it's a sure winner. good luck !!!!

dude, i know how that feels. my eyes hurt for a week after the last time i had the flu (2-weeks ago). holy shit that is a weird feeling. eat an orange and rest up hard-corps!!!

hey medusa. where you been dude? man, financially speaking, skydiving is a vaccum. it's mostly the fuel costs i think. this is in addition to high technology with low volume of purchase (i.e. your parachute). plus, a decent jump-ship goes for almost $1-million now-a-days. it's possible to make a good living in the sport from owning a DZ. Perhaps even a better living (or small fortune) from owning a large DZ, but that is about as far as it goes. the people making money in those other sports own equipment companies that are making deals with network television for international sporting events, etc. etc. we can't reach the masses that way... initial cost of becoming an average performing skydiver is about $10,000 to become a kick-ass, current flyer, with mega-jumps could run between $50,000 and $100,000 and many years of practice. so, keep on jumpin!!!

What do people want from a bad ass Freefly fest?
Vertifly replied to Andrewnewell's topic in Freeflying
what NOT to do... the only thing that i didn't like about a freefly festival once was when the organizers started jumping together. try not to do that -
how about a logo on his chest of himself. that'd be funny

i retired from thieving. it just gets boring and lacks challenge after a while. although, it wouldn't be far fetched for me to say that i once stole almost a complete finished attic. figure that one out.
