  1. It's a good thing that Mexico is not a God, because the kids can thank Mexico for giving us some of the finest tequila....and in Tequila I trust. I am not sure if I trust a radical Tequilas, like the ones that are all the way to the right, or the ones that swing way left....I really like the moderate Tequila...like Patron. Thank God there is Mexico...I mean...thank you Mexico! ======================================LOL. The one good piece of advice my father gave me. "You have black and white. To get thru life try to stay in the gray." The other best piece of advice from my uncle. "If you want all the pussy you can handle and the best pussy go for the fat ones and the ugly ones. They try harder to please." LOL I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.

  4. We can ban the Declaration of Independence in schools because of references to God but ======================================November 23, 2004 Thanksgiving Day, 2004 By the President of the United States of America A Proclamation In Focus: Thanksgiving 2004 All across America, we gather this week with the people we love to give thanks to God for the blessings in our lives. We are grateful for our freedom, grateful for our families and friends, and grateful for the many gifts of America. On Thanksgiving Day, we acknowledge that all of these things, and life itself, come from the Almighty God. Almost four centuries ago, the Pilgrims celebrated a harvest feast to thank God after suffering through a brutal winter. President George Washington proclaimed the first National Day of Thanksgiving in 1789, and President Lincoln revived the tradition during the Civil War, asking Americans to give thanks with "one heart and one voice." Since then, in times of war and in times of peace, Americans have gathered with family and friends and given thanks to God for our blessings. Thanksgiving is also a time to share our blessings with those who are less fortunate. Americans this week will gather food and clothing for neighbors in need. Many young people will give part of their holiday to volunteer at homeless shelters and food pantries. On Thanksgiving, we remember that the true strength of America lies in the hearts and souls of the American people. By seeking out those who are hurting and by lending a hand, Americans touch the lives of their fellow citizens and help make our Nation and the world a better place. This Thanksgiving, we express our gratitude to our dedicated firefighters and police officers who help keep our homeland safe. We are grateful to the homeland security and intelligence personnel who spend long hours on faithful watch. And we give thanks for the Americans in our Armed Forces who are serving around the world to secure our country and advance the cause of freedom. These brave men and women make our entire Nation proud, and we thank them and their families for their sacrifice. On this Thanksgiving Day, we thank God for His blessings and ask Him to continue to guide and watch over our Nation. NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim Thursday, November 25, 2004, as a National Day of Thanksgiving. I encourage all Americans to gather together in their homes and places of worship to reinforce the ties of family and community and to express gratitude for the many blessings we enjoy. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-third day of November, in the year of our Lord two thousand four, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and twenty-ninth. GEORGE W. BUSH I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.

  8. I'd first like to see those machines checked out.------------------------------------------------------------------- Election 2004 Reported by: AP Web produced by: Liz Foreman Photographed by: 9News 11/16/04 12:08:55 PM A statewide recount of the presidential vote appears inevitable after a pair of third-party candidates said they have collected enough money to pay for it. The recount would be conducted after the election results are certified in early December. Libertarian Michael Badnarik and the Green Party's David Cobb said on Monday they raised more than $150,000 in four days, mostly in small contributions. Ohio law requires payment of $10 per precinct for a recount, or $113,600 statewide. Badnarik and Cobb said they aren't trying to overturn President Bush's 136,000-vote victory in Ohio, but just want to ensure that all votes were counted properly in the face of concerns about Election Day irregularities. "Our bottom line is to stand up for the integrity of the voting process because the voting process is the heart of the democratic process," said Blair Bobier, spokesman for Cobb. Bobier said it will be worth the price to ensure the final outcome can be trusted. Carlo LoParo, spokesman for Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell, said the actual cost to county election boards combined will be about $1.5 million I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.

  10. OK. I got wrangled into cooking a ham for Thanksgiving. Personally I'd like to dig up the yard and cook a whole pig but my rich snob relatives would have a shit fit. I'm leaning to THIS recipe. Gonna be a bunch of VEGANS there too and I was told they'd be offended by a pigs head w/ an apple in it's mouth and all burnt to hell. Cruelty to animals and all thet shit too I guess. Fuckin Californians. Any good ideas other than this:INGREDIENTS: 1 Cook's® brand Bone-in Spiral Sliced Ham, Butt or Shank Portion Ham, or Half Ham 1/4 cup apricot jam 1/4 cup raspberry jam 1/2 cup Dijon mustard 1 dash whole grain mustard 1/4 cup fresh chives, finely sliced 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup horseradish 1/4 cup dried cherries, roughly chopped 1/4 teaspoon salt to taste 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper to taste -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DIRECTIONS: Prepare and heat ham according to package directions. To prepare glaze, combine all remaining ingredients in bowl. Mix well and set aside. Brush glaze on your Cook's ham 30 minutes before meat is done. Heat ham uncovered for final 30 minutes. Carve ham and serve. I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.

  23. I don't see them as much different from restraining orders issued by US courts. Some of these have been pretty bizarre, too. -------------------------------- And mind you some U.S states have preventitive detention laws. 24 to 72 hrs w/ no charges which I can attest to personally. 24 hrs in jail (Ca.) they let me go and I asked what I was charged with. They said nothing. It was a law in Ca to keep me from hurting myself or someone else. ( result of a wild toga party ) No due process. Also my son was aressted in Fla. for loud music. Part of his probation was he was not allowed to own ANY electronic equiptment that made noise. So much for only in the UK eh? 24. Man, I feel like I'm watching a REAL BAD soap opera. GERTZ // THURSDAY // WASH TIMES: Russian special forces troops moved many of Saddam Hussein's weapons and related goods out of Iraq and into Syria in the weeks before the March 2003 U.S. military operation, The Washington Times has learned. John A. Shaw, the deputy undersecretary of defense for international technology security, said in an interview that he believes the Russian troops, working with Iraqi intelligence, “almost certainly” removed the high-explosive material that went missing from the Al-Qaqaa facility, south of Baghdad.
