what's interesting is, it doens't look like the camera car get's touched. and yet the incoming white car still managed to hit the front sqad car pretty squarely. now that's some good aim.

just pack up the canopy, put the pin in and use the pc and bridle as a temporary pair of shorts... ...if this wouldn't work for you maybe you need a bigger pilot chute or a smaller ass...

nobody famous, but when I got my new apartment this year I got a new number and we had calls for probably a dozen different people in the first couple months I lived here. I'm thinking, what the hell was this number for before I had it?

I went to a concert back in August and the dropzone was on the way, so I stopped there and dropped my rig off to get a reserve repack. My friends that were with me at the time hung around to watch some people land. That's pretty much it, my family is glad I found something I enjoy, but they don't take much interest in anything I do. -

I'm going to go with whatever has the best chance of saving my ass. at 35000ft, a plane that's at least somewhat controlable with an engine fire beats a 500kt exit from high altitude with no oxygen. if the plane is breaking up and heading for the ground then I'm screwed anyway. getting the rig over my shoulders, threading the chest strap and getting the fuck out any way I can before I pass out sounds like a better plan.

suit #2 I like my cordura knees/booties even though I generally don't fall down. (knock on wood) It's because I'm lazy and when I'm packing I don't take my suit all the way off so I kneel in it quite a bit. /edited cause I had some extra words in there that didn't make any sense.

okay secrets revealed... 1) the first image was a simple animated gif that displayed the first frame for two seconds and the second frame forever, I made it with adobe imageready, it's pretty easy and there's probably a tutorial you can find with google. 2) when you download a file from a web server, your web browser uses the server's file type associations, not your computer's. I can tell my webserver that all files that end in .txt are jpeg images. if you then open a .txt file, your browser will try to display it as a jpeg image. You can make up or overwrite file types as you please.

my post was directed more at the whole thread, not just at you, sorry about that. Anyway, yes I see how it's easy to get frustrated if they seem to be getting in the way of you having a good time, but I guess I've been lucky here at UofI. We have dozens of bars on and just off of campus. There are a handful (CO's, Kams, Station, Clyborne, Gulley's) I just don't go to because I know they're nothing but commercial frat parties 7 days a week. It's not my thing, I go somewhere else. If I'm going to go to a bar, I want to go there with a few friends, sit at a table, have a drink or two, maybe some wings or somthing, and play cards. I know if I look hard enough I can find a place that caters to that.
