her mouths a little to wide, and her nose a wee bit long. And when you take a good look at her, her shape seems all wrong. But she's got a certain somethin', that's so hard to define. And I'm glad that certain somethin', is mine all mine all mine.

I have a functioning car right now, and I'm going to hang on to it for a little while while I'm working, going to grad school (paid for by work thank god), and trying to get money together to put a down payment on a condo. My plan is to treat myself to a new car when I get my masters. I'll prolly end up getting a 330i

Champaign, IL -> Ft Lauderdale, FL ~1400 miles I'm not sure where along the trip it happened, but I know that by the time I got there I was completely insane.

I was drinking a can of coke this morning, I was walking out to catch a bus to campus, and I had about an inch of soda in the bottom of the can. In the time it took me to walk two blocks my coke started turning into slush inside the can these wind chills in the -20s (ºF) are really starting to get old fast. Isn't it May yet?

Haha, yeah they love telephones, cause they never fail to get our attention. If Saturn hears a phone ring, she starts on her little phone ringing script. As soon as it stops ringing: " Hello? ... Oh Hi! ... yes ... that'd be great ... okay ... okay ... alright, bye "

I do spoil Saturn when I'm home from school. My parents play with them both (we have a double yellow head as well) all the time, but I kinda flood her with attention. Sometimes taking Saturn out is a pain for me, not because she's fiesty, but because any time I come over to her cage she runs to the door and puts her head down and says "come here! scritch!" wanting the back of her neck scratched up front.

it's funny how when you see a video with a cool song in it, you think, "hey this song sounds pretty cool." then you get your hands on a real copy of the song and you think, "wow the audio codec they used in that video sure took a dump on this song."

what-you-see-is-what-you-might-get-if-you're-lucky I don't like wysiwyg editors cause on the rare occasion I make a website, I'm generally more interested in the server-side aspect of it to keep track of the content. The front end of the site usually ends up being rather utilitarian and orthogonal looking.

I noticed that too, it was a bad habit ours does on and off as well. A few nutty things our african gray Saturn does... -hangs upside-down from the top of it's cage, tucks her head under her wing and exclaims "Bat Girl!" loudly. -she will make microwave sounds, the doorbell, the telephone, she can immitate any of them spot on and if she catches you falling for it she'll laugh at you, then wave and say hello. -she loves to whistle. When I'm around she'll make up some random series of tones and then wait, I'll whistle the same tones back to her. If I get it right, she'll make up another series of tones. If I'm off a bit, she'll repeat it, and if I screw it up completely she'll just stomp off to the corner of her cage muttering unintelligebly and the game is over. -attatched is Saturn going after my camera... they all seem to like shiny things

http://www.students.uiuc.edu/~rmsimpso/mouse/mouse.html I know this goes against my give a man to fish/teach a man to fish policy, but sometimes you can learn by example. /edited to add: yes I know you can do it with stylesheets or flash... I used to use flash a lot (back around flash3 and flash4) but I got frustrated with how it always seems to render colors differently from the browser. and stylesheets.. hmm, can you still preload images if you do it with stylesheets? I hate laggy mouseovers.

if you move the mouse outside the rollover areas do you want the top image to return to some default or just kinda remain whatever you last had it on? (the second is easier, but not much) let me know and I can through together a demo
