Terrorist, guerrilla, freedom fighter or soldier?
BlueEyedMonster replied to w4p2's topic in The Bonfire
Easy... Uniformed Iraqi Officer, in an Iraqi marked plane , making a military strike in a declared/undeclared war is an Iraqi soldier... if he missed the whitehouse and hits a shopping mall... that is collateral damage. An Al-Qeida operative, while hitting a legit military target, is still an ununiformed operative of a terrorist organization. Therefore he is a terrorist. -
Are you aware of the bad? All of it... NO. No one is. ...More than most Americans. Yes. I may be a bumpkin living in the big city, but the Internet lets me see the opinions and facts of the other side of the world. A goal of mine is to never step into an argument unless I have enough knowledge to argue either side and win. Then I know its safe to form an educated opinion.

Now, for the CORRECT statistics, see below. All sources are linked. Yes Crime levels are high, but you Europeans have us topped. Norway is higher and Sweeden has more than double our crime rate... According to the UN http://www.uncjin.org/Statistics/WCTS/trc000927.pdf Wow! Look at that. 6 countries with more than Double the homicide rate of the US according the World Health Organization. Where did you get your numbers again? Who told you whe had the highest homicide rate? http://www.cely.com/firearms/graph10.html And, yup...98% of Iraqis voted for Saddam... and who ran against him? and what were the consequences of not showing up to vote for Saddam? Where the hell did you get the "less than 25%" voted for Bush? Did you completely make that up? Bush received 47.87% of the poplar vote and 50.4% of the electoral college vote. http://www.uselectionatlas.org/USPRESIDENT/frametextj.html OMG ya got one right... 61% of Americans are overweight/moderately overweight/obese http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/01/31/health/main326811.shtml And Combat deaths in Iraq... It might help if the numbers you were using were not from the first week of the war before anyone got killed in combat. Here are the numbers as of June 25, 2003: 157 U.S. and British troops had died 109 Americans have died in combat Noncombatant U.S. deaths so far in this war is 17 fewer than a dozen Friendly Fire (counted in combat deaths) 31 British deaths, most of which were caused by helicopter crashes. 6 of them were friendly fire. http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/04/17/sprj.irq.casualties/ Next time you might want to do a little research before you libel someone with false information.

Dude who wrote your Stats? That Iraqi Information minister guy? You've got more spin and outright BS than the dem's and republicans combined? I'd like to see the sources of your information. Would you please link them?

For the most part, I don't drink. It only happens once or twice a year. But... When I go to the Saloon, I always have Capt & Coke quick before all the freaks scare me away. And, I did like that bottle of HotSex and the blow jobs what we did on my 100th

I've heard it before... but I never remember names or singers. Sorry. But its a remix of something...I don't think it was originally elevator music.

I'd be happy to bible/church duel you... I don't know if everyone else on this thread wants to see it. Please private me when you are ready, unless everyone else wants to join in. edit to add: Yup you are right, I missed "activity." but the comparison still stands.

Wrong person to try that one on. Homosexuality is not wrong according to the catholic church, Homosexual sex is... for the sole reason that sex is for procreation ONLY. So if you have sex with your wife and use birth control, you are just as guilty as a homosexual having sex.

Exactly the reason for the need to lie.. Here is a hypothetical situation that explains this well: Say we sent a SEAL team with some CIA agents in to wipe out a band of terrorist that were going to attack a US target, and made it look like tribal fighting. We did this in the sovern territory of another country, and admitting to this would cost us dearly in World opinion. At a summit, the French President asks our President directly "Did you have anything to do with this.".... I expect him to say "NO." And handle the situation like only an accomplished liar can. I respect you for your high moral standards because they are evenly applied. That is refreshing, but unapplicable in most political circles. Yeah he just got caught. you can hold them to that standard... But I would vote for Bill now if I could. Bush did a great job with the terrorist/iraq thing. But, now we need someone with the charisma and common sense to fix the economy, and mend a few fences.

The challenge was with regards to the adultery, and sex in the White House. Not Employer/employee relations. But yes you are correct. He did violate that. But, you are incorrect about the peasants that don't get away with it. I've known many that have, and only one that got busted. Happens all the time in the real world.

He's a politician. I expect him to lie. Politicians sometimes need to do that to get the job done right. Is that ideal? Hell no. But, it works. Do you really think GW is the sparkling boy of truthfulness? And for his relationship with his wife. That is between the two of them. How would you like it if your boss started telling you what you and your wife could/couldn't do? Being president is a job... the pay sucks for the work, but he gets a nice house for 4 years.
-
Ummm... show me a statute that says he can't and I will happily concede this point to you. edited to add: So, I believe that means he CAN do what he wants in there. http://www.whitehouse.gov/history/facts.html

Holy crap.... My washer/dryer spins at 1200 RPM, but YOU have it beat hands down!
-
But that is all income... and it should be included.
-
The others are skilled workers (including help desk people, support people and developers) things I do... that make over 22k+ a year.
-
Sex scandals are more fun than lost jobs, big deficits, and pissed off friends. A big MYOB out to those who think a person should be punished at work for what legal things he/she does at home.
-
You funny man... Not after the pay cuts I have already taken just to stay working. Remember the new overtime only protects those who earn below 22,000 something a year. I don't consider anything between that and 60k a High wage earner. Who's stats were those? Republicans or Dems? And 19% is not far off from what I get nailed for anyway.
-
What the heck else did you expect to come out of the White House Bible study sessions?
-
I know he did... where do you think the money is going to come from now to defeat him now??? ha ha ha Lets hope the Bush wises up a bit too, before he ticks too many people off before election day. I'd just be happy with a one size fits all flat tax... no deductions. And, leave my damn overtime alone! 21% of my income last year was overtime pay.
