  1. Here's an old post card I found today at a junk shop. I usually pick this kind of stuff up if they don't want too much for it.
  2. Yesterday we celebrated Independence. The struggle for Freedom and Liberty never ends.

    Python vs Croc

Jeez, care to post any OLDER news? Here ya go!
  4. If you could see what a vuvuzela sounds like ...that would be it!
  5. "5D" by the Byrds favorite lines: "All my two-dimensional boundaries were gone, I had lost to them badly, I saw that world crumble and thought I was dead, But I found my senses still working."
  6. Good job! After your reserve was deployed and you were all sorted out did you make sure the main PC was secure enough not to deploy the main inadvertently? Don't hurt to check.
  7. Well, yeah......I figured that! (the "227" was the big tip-off that not all of the jumpers were outta the Cessna.) .....It just struck me as funny.
  8. I like your jump #384 ..... CRW World Reord Mass Exit Attempt from a 182.
  9. Got a skydive jones.......oh baby ooh ooh ooooooh! (that's when you love skydiving so much you are like a junkie!)
  10. True, although I've never heard of it happening (not saying it can't, simply saying I've personally never heard/read of it). Happened on my DZ a few years back. So now you've heard of one Anyway I wouldn't want a pull-out for my regular rig as I jump wingsuit, but for just about everything else a pullout is fine and I think just about every serious CRW team I've seen had pullouts on their rigs. Most people nowaydays tend to just buy a freefly handle for a bit of extra security though. Very important: pullout & packers is not always a good combination I noticed at Zhills (where there were a lot of European visitors) during the mid 90's that it seemed that most Europeans preferred pull-out while most Americans used throw-out. Of course there were exceptions.

    Speeding

There are two kinds of drivers that really piss me off. 1) The guy that gets right on your bumper while you're already going over the limit. If he's in that much of a hurry he should get his ass out of bed earlier and give himself more time to get where he's going. He should be prepared to eat his airbag. 2) The guy who won't move his ass over to the slow lane when it is obvious that I'm in a hurry. Can't he look in his rear view mirror and see me shaking my fist and yelling obscenities at him? Just move over! Jeez! ... Not everyone is riding around with no place to go and nothing else to do!
  12. Now, that's what you like to see. Extra lube! If you know what you're doin' you don't need extra lube. That what the guys that advocate "Size Doesn't Matter" say. I don't know....I usually don't pay much attention to the guys that say "size doesn't matter".

  14. Just be sure you have all of your paperwork in order. It is very difficult to enter the US from Mexico without proper documentation.
  15. I bet it's this place........ name on goggles, KA, etc.
  16. Agreed but I don't think it's her. What, you don't think I'd have a Bible verse tattooed on my ass??? (Yes, it's not me.) I'm just wondering if it's a turn-on or a turn-off for a guy who might be looking at it? Or would most guys just block it out and focus on the naked woman? Well.......I suppose it would give a guy something to read if he gets bored.
  17. Ann Landers as "shah269" (or maybe Dr. Ruth)
  18. Cool chart. The chart should include "Typical Skydiving Exit Altitude" at 13,500 ft. Also, that Ruppell's Vulture is one badass bird. I see it has evolved to fly in the "Death Zone", probably to take advantage of the abundance of buzzard food up there.
  19. I was friends with a lot of the guys before pledging or even before I considered joining the fraternity. Many of us still keep in touch, mainly through a proprietary internet site, but also through reunions and other functions. Also, our fraternity was quite eclectic for the times. We had/have brothers who were white Jewish, Muslim, Asian and black... and this in a school in Florida in the late 60's. A lot of the guys from back then are even now very involved in the school and in the alumni assn.
  20. soitenly! In the 60's at my school we had to import sorority girls from the local junior college to have our parties. (well,...we did if we wanted to have any fun at the parties.)
  21. Yep. A local fraternity at my school, DDT. They joined the national fraternity, Theta Xi, after I left school. Great bunch of guys (as far as engineers go!).
  22. Don't the have only sororities there??!? (Go Gators!)
