How many lines breaking/snapping would cause you to cutaway
TheBachelor replied to Mark24688m's topic in Safety and Training
I wouldn't use a "general rule." If I had time to do a control check, then that's what I would do. If the control check told me I couldn't land it, or if I ran out of time trying to decide, I'd chop it. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years... -
Haven't seen it in years. Raquel Welch was damn hot in that movie! There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...

Many, but the one I can think of at this time: Accomodate (Can't remember if it's one or two "m"'s) There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...

I've watched it. My initial reaction was to relive the awkwardness and pain they were feeling when trying to talk to someone in a club. Throughout the show, I've thought that some of the "tricks" that he taught were useful. I, too wish I had seen it in high school. On the other hand, I don't know if I'd have the b@lls to approach women, even if I felt more confident. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...

I've made about 900 jumps at Elsinore, and about 300 at Perris. My wife did her AFF at Elsinore. Right now, I mostly jump at Perris since they have bigger groups going up with the Load Organizers. All of that being said, my vote would be to do your AFF at Elsinore. I agree with others that the cost should be a wash since they're so close together. The people at Elsinore set up a tunnel session for my wife, and went with her to give her coaching, so once again that's a wash. Why Elsinore then? The vibe. Perris is a high-volume operation. That's great for them, but I think you get a much more personal vibe at Elsinore. They're smaller, and in my experience, you get to know the instructors better than at Perris. Both places are safe, well-run operations. Someone else mentioned Jim Wallace's school at Perris. They're the smallest of the three, and I don't think you could go wrong by going there either. I only know a few people on his staff, but they're all good. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...

If you speak French as your first language, I'd appreciate if you'd PM me for a quick question. I'd like to ask the same question of several people. Once I get the answers I need, I'll post another message in this thread. Thanks! There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...

The sad thing is it will probably be 20 years or more until he is executed. Timothy McVeigh did the right thing, refused all appeals, and took his punishment. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...

I had to repeat one level. Went out of control on my "release dive". It would have been nice to have a tunnel back then. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...

I've been lucky. I've had two contracts since 1986. The first one was 12+ years, and I'm going on 10 years at my current position. The staff here is 90% contractors, but they're actually pushing people to become FTE's. The rates are going down the toilet because most of the new contractors coming on are from India, and will work for much less. Fortunately I got in when the rates were the highest and I'm still at that rate. At age 43, I've made enough to retire. Yes, I do consider myself one lucky SOB. There are battered women? Yes, you may open yourself up to debates and/or bashing, but since you felt strongly about posting, good for you. No amount of basing/debating is going to change your belief. Thanks for the post. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years... -

ha ha! Jury questionnaire - an honest liar?
TheBachelor replied to livendive's topic in Speakers Corner
In Los Angeles County, we have a "1-day or 1-trial" system. If you get called in, and don't get picked for a jury, you're done. If you do get picked, you have to stay for the length of the trial. I had jury duty a couple of months ago, and someone got up and said that the black defendent was guilty. "Why?" asked the judge. The guy then said he was a "recovering racist", and just because the guy was black, he was guilty. The judge was obviously pissed, and told him to wait in the hall. The judge then asked us if anyone else was going to pull something like that. Nobody came forward. The next day we learned that the judge made him come back every day for the rest of the week. Ex-'Grey's' star: Racism a factor in axing

I'm sick of the "Race Card" crap. Certain people can't accept reality, and blaming their problems on racists is a great excuse. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years... -

He was disbarred on Saturday, but still I don't think he'll ever get the punishment he deserves. As one of the Lacrosse players said something like this: "When I die, regardless of what I've done in my life, I'll always be referred to as an 'accused rapist.'" Nifong has done irreparable harm to the lives of these boys. I hope those he harmed get every dime that Nifong has, along with every dime he'll ever make. This wasn't a innocent mistake. He knew what he was doing, but did it anyway. [/rant] There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
