Thanks! I've a read a lot about Skyhook. -
Should people be banned for doing hookturns in certain places?

Can you give more tribute to the deceased than fly over than land safely? -
And do a test. Try to climb out of your gear while your are hanging in your harness. I did this test. I geared up, attached my harness with the 3-ring system to the hanging harness we use for student training. I know that I have to break my arms (or shoulders) first. Not really. Just set your leg strap loose than you can climb out if you don't have the bungee.

Main assisted reserve deployment ? Its a bit too general, don't you think? -

What a hack is M.A.R.D.? Which manufacturer is providing it as an options? Where can I read the relevant marketing mabo-jumbo? -

Having a full twist on a stable, flying reserve is not a big deal. Kicking them out would take less altitude than opening after more delay without Skyhook. I think a canopy with a linetwist flies better than a reserve still in freebag. -
What I have seen from the video, that it was _just_ diving in. I have not seen you releasing breaks. I got similar problem on a Cobalt loaded 1.6-1.7. I just released the breaks and stopped the turn. I was thinking about cutting away, but I got the easy fix. An elliptical canopy is not stopping turning if breaks are set. You have some seconds to stop the turn with the opposite riser before it gets to heavy than you have some time to stop it with breaks.... I would not let the situation develop from bad to worst.

What canopy was that? What was your wing load? Its strange to see that you were more interested to deal with killing the slider than stopping the turn and dive of your wing.

Im new in afp, had a question about what this meant.

Get a fast FS suit: ZP material and spandex.

Wingsuit Flocking ==> Balloon Suit Flocking?
phoenixlpr replied to mysty429's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Here is mine. Flat spins should have some connection with the suit and the leg stand. I could not get any with my Phantom. Narrow leg stand can contribute for flat spin. -
I have 400 jumps on one. I'm going to get it relined if I still use it. My openings getting funky. If lines hold thats just up to you how long you tolerate a canopy out of trim.

Ugh. If you load a F1-11 canopy over 1.0 you'll suck.
-
You can ask you rigger to make a new lower break line. Its just a $5 issue. And die, you missed that step. Don't let go your toggles before landing. You can forget about using rears for plane out on Sabre, it has a short recovery, so it will plane out by itself, when you release your front risers gradually.
-
I think it could be easier to fix from the other end, just cutting back.
-
Check my video! I make sure that the slider in place after I have put the canopy into the bag.

Your info might be out of date. That wisdom can be true for canopies made from low porosity(F111) material. You should be able to execute a 2 stage flare with your ZP canopy at your wing load. Stage 1: eliminate vertical descent - start flying on level with the ground Stage 2: reduce horizontal speed and keep flying as long as you can Those are good canopies, but you would face the very same problems again. There are excellent articles in the Safety/Landing section. Filming and reviewing your landing would help also.

Accuracy is not a wing load of size issue. I can hit the same spot with a Triathlon 160 WL 1.4 or a CobaltCompeteion 105 WL 2.2.

I have only jump Phantom so far. *BOC access. You have to get use to it. *I think it could be some correlation between the leg wing width and flat spin. Notice that BM suits have norrower leg stand. *I was told that e.g. Vampire can cause an fatigue if you want to fly maxed out.

RTFM! Its there! If its not with Phantom manual, you may find it with Ghost or Stealth.

Packing is 95% voodoo mumbojumbo. Do as much or as little as you're comfortable with, and if it's in the bag it's good to go. I got lot relaxed since I have been jumping a class 6 canopy.
