Nice. Does sound protection help to prevent brain injury?
-
Well. I met a guy wearing a certified motorcycle helmet. He looked like Lord Helmet from SpaceBalls.
-
We still do it time to time with whatever we fly.

Scirocco - new x-braced main by Skylark
phoenixlpr replied to frost's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
That's what you call bureaucracy. -
Right. The difference in wing area is quite small. It's too bad that the Blade/Ghost class is gone.

Guess, what suit is under the blue one! The blue is a new Pf-Ghost3. Hint: that's from Phoenix-fly too....
-
Or a Flag from Estonia.

I jump Cobalt Competition 105, Coblat 136, Triathlon 160 depending on my mood.

Agree, it should be tight to feel tension and hardware in place. Well, I tighten my leg straps before zipping up and boarding the plane.
-
Your suit is not an armor, you should able to touch your leg strap hardware on the usual place.

Any real reason and benefit to have these title?
-
Sure it is, if you have a stiff neck.

Skydiving Disciplines....

I've jumped only with Z1 and Factory Diver. I like them. I prefer to keep my face warm. I have not noticed significant restriction of vision, but other people might not hear what I say if I have them on.

Why doesn't everyone jump accuracy? Why doesn't everyone jump FF? Why doesn't everyone jump RW? Why doesn't everyone jump CReW? Why doesn't everyone jump Speed?

Amazing! Having 2000 jumps and you still don't know what 17" MLW does means? It does not have a strong relation with your high and weight. Its the measurement of your torso. Some has short legs, some long legs and they might even you the same size of harness. The best way to try as many harness you can and make a note what is the best fit. Not only on the ground, but also hanged from the 3 ring.

What makes you say that? Some fairy tale glide numbers. I got similar number than the previous post has.

Made it clicky for ya Also love the 3.5 - 3.7 average Bullshit. Check the altitude loss and reported horizontal distance. That GPS overlay is bogus. From exit to opening glide 2.4. From 15sec to opening glide 3.0+. This is still great, but not the 3.5-3.7 fairy tale. You know there are 3 kind of people out there: -who can count -who can't

or water... you need to jump with a chainsaw and an inflatable raft Lakes are still frozen. Safe to land on ice? I saw some man ice fishing on Sunday.
-
I don't take anything special. Landing out is not always an option jumping in a place like that. Most/darker green on the picture is forest.

I remember, 9 years ago my instructor was holding photos of malfunctions over me while I was in the hanging harness. You can call it old school, but its still about the same of recognizing the problem, than act accordingly.

Try them if you can.

AFIAK cutters were introduced, because there could be some interference with pin and pin pullers. An AAD with a cutter might save your life if you have a bent reserve pin.
