You have to know your (wind)limits, but how would you know your (wind)limits without testing?
-
There was a good comparison of AADs and their costs in the Skydiving magazine. How many times have you ever jumped from a pressurized AC? We don't need complicated systems. You should be decide in no time if you are going to be in activation range or not. What is wrong? A pilot failed to execute rigth procedures? A swooper was pushing its limits?

I'm sorry I'm not getting into this pissing contest. I don't think so. Does current (electronical) AADs working fine? Yes, if they are used in their operational envelope. They can make a good decision from the current source of data. Anyway do not forget if manufacturers can save $2 on one unit they will. I like cool gadgets too, but not in my life saving device.

They might say they just have been integrated the best features of Phi into Firebird-R. It could be a demand from the customers .

Those things are coming anyway by default. -
I have jump with mechanical AAD. The gadget you propose is way to long complicated and its an overshoot. KISS

Learn! Packing is a religion. You have to believe in your packing and you have to practice it. Oh, and you have to teach/spread it.

SIM has been read.

Please don't tell me that you have exact 5000 jumps, so your profile is not accurate either.

1. Pull 2. Pull with stability 3. Pull at correct altitude with stability ?

I disagree. I've bought my Pro-track about #31. I had a total mal right after that, so I've heard the siren. I think you don't need it for AFF.

You are not supposed to jump under those weather conditions.

Be positive! They can even succeed or learn something from it.

Getting the canopy smaller to pack

Does it jusitfy you to jump under unacceptable wind conditions?

I have a deep purple. None has recognized the situation when I used for the first time, none were tracking my freebag/RPC, main..... I've seen some of the manufacturers has successfully implemented Ford's guide-a car can have any color as long as it is black- for reserve coloring with white.

Not satisfied with the British weather? Try the Finnish weather! -
Flat pack is ok. Why do you call it roll pack?
