I have a Cobalt135 and I have used only with a 24" ZP kill-line PC. I got only soft openings. It does matter was it clear and pull or dump from track.

Search net for silicone tube. 7x1.5mm is good for main locking stows, 4x1mm is for the rest. I've followed sundevil's advice.

I'm not a doctor. I don't think that eye surgery is for you.
-
You can make by yourself. You need some tools and some silicone tube like 4mm x 1mm and/or 7mm x 1.5mm and some silicone glue maybe. !m of silicone tube costs less than 3 Euros. Optimal tube length is about 105-120mm with 10mm overlay. I made 6 big and 8 small tubes yesterday in less than 30 minutes.

Device notice take off from pressure change.

I was told even a bigger flock of birds are visible on primary radar. Why are you so surprised if it could happen with skydivers?
-
Why do you complain if you have soft openings? AFAK silder's purpose is controlling opening.

Is Noes an 11 cell platform?

It so is nice to share my point of view with someone so new to tandems.

I got this picture and that said to be a FX 285 tandem prototype. Why is that better than a non-crossbraced? Why is that would be better to the tandem student/passenger?

To begginers who wants to buy new canopy!!

Or learn to pack in 10-20 jumps/packjobs. If you can control the material you win.... Watching others paching won't make you a better packer. -

Really? Every new jumper keeps on telling that. You might have misssed the first advice: buy a used canopy with 150-200+ jumps in it. Or search this forum. There is a thread about new canopy packing every 2nd month. Or you might look around my posts, been there, done that and posted my experience with pictures... Call me smug, I was packing slippery canopies of new jumper last weekend to for fun and for my practice. Packing is fun. Have fun ! -
I have microlines, but I've noticed excessive wear on the inner locking stows. I found the best stows can be made from 6mm wide, 1,5mm thick silicone tube. I use 120mm long tube with 5-6mm overlay and silicone glue inside the overlay. This kind of tube-stow can look really strong, but it will get softer in use.

I've thrown my Cobalt into track. It opened as soft as usual.

I can not hear my Neptun under freefall using a fullface helmet.

I noticed the same on a Pilot and just a 180 degree front riser turn. It has leveled out and started to climb . I was not diving as much with a slow single front riser turn as it does with double fronts applied.

We have a pond. It is about 4-5m wide and 30-50m long. It has shallow walls in the short edges as I remember. Walls are quite steep on the long edges.

Oh, really? Yeah and everyone is playing fair.... ...and you never ever heard about data lost or stolen... Why should I trust a 3rd party with my data? I can keep my repack dates in mind and the serial number of my equipment safe without any help from a 3rd party from a foreign country. Thank you.

Beginner through Expert depending on the wing load. So Atari claims almost the same. Some people seem to disagree with them. fully elliptical canopy is not more than a marketing term. I jumped a Vison132 and Cobalt135. They are far from being the same. Both of them marketed as elliptical. One feels like a wild horse and the other just an extent of your body. I'd recommend to try Cobalt if your WL is under 1.3, but not Vision. I have not tried Stiletto or Firebolt either. I'd try Firebolt if I could.

Not every one wants to publish all his/her data for the whole world.
-
Oh God! Yet another data!. Navigator has 2.52:1 as aspect ratio. So? Spectre has 2.14:1 and PD-R has 2.1:1, but those are 7 cell canopies. Check Planform factor. It might help to understand things. From that you might see that Safire2 has higher planform than the legendary Stiletto.
-
I don't think that any gadget can give you an ultimate good setup.
-
FYI,even the PD Navigator is not a square planform. Planform factor of Pilot and Solo are both 6,6. Size and WL does matter too.

Keep on reading.... BTW have you jumped a Stiletto?
