  1. I had a knot on the brake line excess after an uneventful WS flight. I was not sure what to do. I was open high, I zipped up, stowed the slider. I got a know on the left side when I've released my brakes. I had altitude for fighting. My line excess was stored in the PD recommended way within a half small rubber band.I could not find the PD document on the PD's site anymore. I was lucky to pull it free, but it took lots of time. What if I can not pull it free? It was on a Pilot150, my WL is ~ 1.5. What to do? -Cut it away -Cut the knotted lower brake line and land in rears -Stow the other side and land in rears Is it a good idea to carry a small pipe or something to stow the other side easily? Your options? Ideas? What is the maximum WL under you are willing to land a main in stowed brakes with rears?
  2. It's not a theory, but it's not for everyone.
  3. I was under WL 1.2 ~ jump nr 180 and 1.4 ~ nr 260. WL does not kill you, bad decisions under any WL can.
  4. Why do you wanna have a full stall? You should know the simptoms of stall to avoid full stall. So why do you want to full stall a full zp/elliptical canopy?
  5. I've noticed the harness turn effect around WL 1.3. My canopy was turning without input(from brakes), I had to realize it was not a canopy problem and my body position was the cause. If you want to turn to the left try leaning to the left and lifting you right knee and right hip up.
  6. Like any other: Enjoy and don't hurt yourself or anyone else.
  7. Yeah, just like skydiving regulations all around Europe,
  8. If you jump WS with a pull-out system, it could be a higher chance that put PC stays in your burble.
  9. Are speed limits same in every US states?
  10. Less work, less pack volume. IMHO most load is on center celles.
  11. Students are packing for themself (except first 2 jumps) under supervison of licensed skydivers and main points are inspected too in the country I'm jumping.
  12. Yeah. I'd rather choose a pilot who has crash some planes before.
  13. It does not matter who has packed it if it was inspected and supervised.
  14. AFAK there is a military model too. I've seen rigs owned by the military, there are student cypres on those.
  15. Well, that's interesting. There is always a better canopy. I'd rather get a demo on Onyx. I've just started to fly my Cobalt. I'm impressed and in love. I don't thing that Onyx could be a disappointment.
  16. Check this link below: it would make sense to you a high glide main. Raider from para-flight
  17. Notice that I do not question his experience. I'd rather question you way your way of measuring and comparing others experience. You made it not me. I notice that I need much more jumps to challenge your ego. My opinion is base on a mathematical model. Why do you bother to prove my model is wrong or even more constructive way: give a better model.
  18. You have a really interesting definition of peak force. AFAK some reserves have limitation of maximum number of deployment.
  19. I wonder what makes you think that mine is bigger than yours ... or his is bigger than your ... is the right way to prove anything?
  20. Hi, That is a great publication. Parachute Opening Shock Basics
