You don't see that everyday..
phoenixlpr replied to LouDiamond's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
It has wheels. I'd rather call it roll out. -
That's incomplete. It's scary to see someone so close in deployment time. I had something similar, but with wing suit. Cameraman or instructor was right behind me close to deployment time. I have given a lazy/incomplete wave off signal and deployed. His good reflexes saved us.

I fly a Pilot150 (~WL1.5) and a Cobalt135 (~WL1.6)sometimes alternately. They do fly, land, flare differently. I don't know what you expect to hear. Switching from canopy A to B does not seem to be too complicated if you take to learn the new one.

It's one of the stupidest poll ever. What do you expect to find out that you do not know already?
-
Or just the sell does not disclose that minor detail. Oh, its digital, it does not matter.....

Anti-fog/ice spray helps a lot. It works just fine.

How about jumping in Finland in winter time?
-
Not really surprised.

What do you want with it? Do you want it open slower and even softer? Pull the slider to the direction of the nose and roll more on the tail. Stuff the nose in the middle and leave it alone!
-
It comes without saying.
-
Some goes for main, desn't it?
-
Ok, but it is still part of the FFC. I could not decide it by myself, because I have not ever had any flat spin.
-
Last chance from flat-spin mals?
-
Why the God's sake are you rolling the nose of a Pilot canopy???

Digging or not? What makes the difference?

Digging or not? What makes the difference?
phoenixlpr replied to phoenixlpr's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Is "digging out/stabbing brakes" the right term for recover from a low turn? So what makes the difference between digging out and a perfect swoop? -
Digging or not? What makes the difference?
phoenixlpr replied to phoenixlpr's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Hi, In a induced speed landing, like from double fronts to 90 degrees approach what make different between it was too low/digged out and a good one? Is using about same amount of input start flare like normal approach digging already? -
I have jumped a Bell Augusta. It carried 4 + pilot. It was unique, but expensive. We paid 4x more for 900m than from our Cessna.

Beginner interested in tracking pants/suit.
phoenixlpr replied to gump1119's topic in Wing Suit Flying
If I were you I would focus on graduating and getting A license first. You don't need anything special for a track dive, but you can learn a lot there. -
Thanks! It is a great blueprint.

Sure. My guess is 30-150g. Everything counts .

Go on! I know you know these things much better.....
