Have you check their samples? Ok. That shoot was not in a fast moving environment.

How would you describe your packing environment? Humid or dry?

Do we need a Hook Turn -- Bounce Book?
phoenixlpr replied to ZigZagMarquis's topic in Safety and Training
None would believe until it happens with him/her. I did not either. I had a jump where I messed up my setup, I utilized the famous "I can do that" attitude. I have aborted, but I hit the ground with my left knee. I had the effect of my brake stub after that and getting up 2-3 meters. I was over our swoop area. The surface was soft and I was walking away without even a scratch. Pictures do not work. Take a positive attitude and make some canopy simulator. Even injuries can be simulated depending on the surface, position and energy of the impact. -
recovery arcs and learning to swoop...
phoenixlpr replied to avenfoto's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
There is canopy A with short recovery arc, you have to release front risers 4 seconds before impact, there is canopy B with a normal recovery arc, you have to release canopy B's front risers 12 seconds before impact. Which one you choose? -
miniDV is using compression too.

Hehe . It needs 5V 1500mA DC and autorecord function. It can record from your bulletcam activated just with a simple power switch.

Hi, Have you seen this It look quite nice for a bullet camera. Any thoughts?

Do we need a Hook Turn -- Bounce Book?

Nope. No need for that. We respect rules and don't like to file incident report of low pulls. -

We have a swoop area and the landing area is huge anyway. -
I use a Z1 fullface helmet with wisor, but I have a cheap plasic goggle in my gearbag for in case... It's good to have plane B.

Not more than $400. Do the math: new price as new / 20 * years-seasons left.

I doubt that. You can not make/code valid GPS signals by yourself. -

The "45 degree rule" for exit separation DOES NOT WORK
phoenixlpr replied to kallend's topic in Safety and Training
So how about the "45 Degree Myth" ? Satisfied? -
And you might hear the question: "comparing to what?"

canopy for an infrequent jumper
phoenixlpr replied to Yossarian's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You'd better plan and buy your canopy for your exit weight, weight vest/belt must be included. -

We may found a parrot club.

I was training Shukokai for 5 years. I have not noticed if it had any effect on my skydiving skills.

canopy for an infrequent jumper
phoenixlpr replied to Yossarian's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I was flying about the WL of 1.4. I had a beach jump, I have fucked up my approch and I had to change to plane B which had a low 90 degrees turn, I was going around near 2 small trees about 4-5m high only. I still had a soft landing after that turn. Try to beat this! -
Please keep your sexlife out of these forums...thank you.. You are quite kinky. It was about my car. I could have been quite a journey from Finland. We are having a kindda end of season party on Saturday.

canopy for an infrequent jumper
phoenixlpr replied to Yossarian's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Pilot is a really good choice. I have one and I love it. Its perfect except you want to start swooping. Anyway infrequent jumping and swooping are not a really good match.
