You guys can all keep your naked jumps! Call me old fashioned. Call me overly modest. Call me insecure. Call me scared of the flapping. Whisper that I must have a small penis. Whatever you like I'm keeping my clothes on and I prefer the folks I jump with to do the same. Frankly even the most beautiful bodies look like crap in a 120 mph wind. Breasts that are normally firm and shapely seem to turn into inverted soup bowl lookin things. Yukk! I dont want to get caught up in that train wreck fascination and lose altitude awareness!

Ya cant run Windows 2000 server on that Cray, Dude! They run UNICOS which is a varient of System V and BSD UNIX. You can put me down for one of those as well. Hey when are those folding guys comin out with a Solaris version anyway? The site said "In a couple weeks" months ago!

What I would do depends on what line was over and wether or not the canopy was still landable. I dont think there is a "right" answer to this question.

It doesnt appear to have the face covered. In other words its not a closed helmet. This kinda defeats the purpose, doesnt it? If you just want some additional coverage for your jaw and chin I guess it would be better than spending 2 or 3 hundred bucks.

Its not forever :-) I went with IAD (Instructor Assisted Deployment. Similar progression to static line) program as opposed to AFF for financial reasons. I still got my A license in 28 jumps.

Dude, spiders rock man. Why is it that cool, beneficial, natural, unoffensive creatures give people the willies and make them want to kill stuff? Human are wrecking the planet, not spiders. Now if most of THOSE died the world would be a much better place. If I find a strange spider in my house I put it outside. If I find a strange human in my house I'm gonna step on it.

I havent played in a long time. Years actually, but I have seen people get absolutely furious with each other while playing this game. Not unusual, if you ask me. I guess world domination has this affect on people

My last jump was in 1995. I'm starting up again next month when my new gear arrives! I have 57 jumps, my A license, and its been 8 years since my last jump. I'm going to sit through the first jump course again, practice emergency procedures like a mofo, and do an AFF style jump with my instructor involving nothing more complicated than hovering on heading, circle of awareness, and pulling on time After that (assuming that I manage to pull ) I'll be back in the rat race.

In my newbie opinion 1700 ft is far too long a snivel. I would speak with your rigger about it.

try the Crater suit from Bodysport USA. That starts at a base price of about $120.00 I think. I got mine with grippers on the inside and outside of legs, and on the arms, knee pads, etc and the total was around $200 I think. Looks good anf fits well.
