Trump inherited a good economy and made it better, both unemployed and inflation were below the Feds target rates. Of course COVID threw a wrench into that but by the end of Trumps term COVID was coming under control and the economy was rebounding quickly after the shortest recession in history. What did Biden do other than open borders and cause inflation. To be fair he did keep the Trump tariffs in place.

You are commingling policies with personal traits. The majority of Americans say they were better off during the Trump administration than the Biden administration. Yes Trump is a reprehensible human being, but I’ll take the low inflation, low gasoline prices and low unemployment over what Harris and Biden have done.

If Harris wins a Republican Senate can limit the damage and if Trump wins a unified Democrat legislature could limit his shenanigans.

Fascism came to the United States in the 1920s, under the banner of Progressivism. Roosevelt and the other members of the Progressive Party openly advocated for implementing Mussolini’s Fascism in the United States, and attempted to do so. The press of the day was likewise lauding Mussolini and advocating for the U.S. to be more like Italy. Roosevelt and Mussolini openly admired each other, with Mussolini pointing out the Fascist aspects of FDR’s policies.
