  1. If we should be doing more, why did California (the green energy leader) opt for dirty fossil fuels when an extra windmill, some solar panels and a few batteries would have sufficed?
  2. These people could have used some global warming https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/68/wr/mm6807a8.htm than there is this https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwirmsa08svrAhWHgnIEHTIuBv0QFjABegQICxAE&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.treehugger.com%2Fcold-deadlier-heat-4855696&usg=AOvVaw3RJE0QEp7iGyc2jAOI7Plj BTW congratulations on your gas plants remaining open
  3. Thanks brother, but I have a sneaking suspicion that SUV cancels out hybrid. I am waiting for BillV to make a ruling on that one.
  4. Don’t you mean right after they renege on their vow to close the environmentally devastating coastal gas plants.
  5. I’m all for California’s pursuit of green energy. As of now they are paying twice the national average for electricity and dealing with occasional blackouts. After closing a nuclear plant and a few more gas plants, they will have the privilege of paying 4x the national average and will be enjoying weekly rolling blackouts. Then California will flip red faster than you can say “climate change”
  6. That’s why there are crickets from the lefties. ”watch us save the planet....at least until the lights go out”

It just goes to prove, folks like the idea of green energy much better than the reality of it

  10. I loved the 1980’s CRX, it was like a pickup truck for guys that liked to drive a sporty ride. It had room behind the seats for tons of stuff. Unfortunately for me I had to settle for a domestic copy, the Ford EXP.
  11. Nothing that some fine grit sandpaper, water and elbow grease couldn’t fix for a few bucks
  12. It is also a lot of gentrification that drives out the native born disadvantaged.
  13. Agreed, unlike the imaginary deaths from the imaginary cause of man made climate change. Even California tabled their Green New Deal to deal with the actual Covid crisis. Just as I predict they will keep their coastal gas fired generators running when faced with the reality of rolling blackouts.
  14. That’s not a tick. This Is a tick and not just a tick, he is The Tick
  15. I think a lot of our problems could be solved with a balanced budget amendment. Everyone loves free stuff from the government and everyone want to pay less in taxes. If we were forced to cut programs to pay for tax cuts or raise everyone’s taxes to pay for new programs, it would focus our collective minds in a way the current system does not.
  16. It is our last chance! https://climaterealism.com/2020/08/the-guardian-hypes-one-more-last-chance-to-save-earth-from-climate-change-adding-to-a-30-year-legacy-of-last-chances/
  17. In the long run that alarmism will kill more people than it saves. Too many false alarms will cause folks to ignore legitimate ones.
  18. Two things; 1. I didn’t buy it she did. 2. We just replaced our old 2015 GL450, no overcompensating.
  19. Just what is misogynistic about a mutually beneficial arrangement between two consenting adults? BJ shaming and denying a woman agency of her own body is misogynistic.
  20. When did it not? Social security? Medicare? National debt?
  21. Fifty thousand years ago pigs and humans made an accord, “you feed me and I will feed you”
