Ok Iam starting to get paranoid....I want to go out for wings with some of the local crew but am nervous about leaving my BACON unattended....I am sure that some one saw me bringing it into the house and are lurking...waiting for me to leave so they can pilfer it.......DAM BACON THIEVES!!!! And if thats not bad enough...the G/F expects to portion it up and freeze it.....I wana cook it all.... mmmmm bacon wrapped wings

So I'm sitting here emailing out pic's etc and I hear my G/F beeping the horn in the driveway...I walk out and say....thats kinda rude ya know...only to find out that she wanted me to grab something from the trunk.....well...I'm awe struck to open the trunk and see a whole BOX of BACON sitting there

See if you can get him to buy you a beer or 2...he was the 1st person besides me to jump my rig and if I recall correctly it was also his 1st time jumping a Triathlon(which is kinda hard to believe considering his jump numbers) I had the good fortune to help out at the SARTEC training last month as a packer for the instructors...learned a hell of alot those few days about packing and the SARTEC's(those guys have big brass balls)...didnt get to jump the Herc but hopefully by next time I will have my coach 1 and be able to help out and learn more

Dont forget the great posts avaible here in the Safety section [url] http://www.dropzone.com/safety/Canopy_Control/index.shtml[url] that and just really learning to play with your canopy...and work it... read it all...try it all front riser it and then flat turn it experiment read all you can...but play with your canopy above your deck...make it your tool.. 180 deg turns...front riser(R)...flat turn(L)...toggle(R)...riser (L)...flat (L)...etc etc...make your own drills and have some fun...mix it up...

Are you saying that you made a jump every year for 16 years? "tuned" to what?..the disipline they have been working towards....1000 jumps per year is a hell of alot...I'd put my life in the hands of someone with 20 years in and 1000 jumps way before I put my life in the hands of someone with 1000 jumps in their 1st year in the sport. Hard to argue against that...see above

or round them to the nearest 0 .... Once I hit 500(around 2015) I will have the same mind set ...but till then...every jump counts and I am very happy to update my jump numbers every weekend that I have the privlage to jump

after reading the "experianced" thread...... time in sport came to mind...and I formed a Q... 1st...what are others opinions on my time in the sport?..I have down for 5 years for my lowely 73 jumps..here's the breakdown.. 1999-12 jumps 2000-0 jumps 2001-8 jumps 2002-5 jumps 2003-8 jumps 2004-6 jumps 2005-24 jumps 2006-10 and counting I plan on changing my years in sport next month(July) to show 6...as I do not count partial years nor 2000 when I did not jump. Is my time in the sport correct for what is typed above? 2nd....is there a minimun number of jumps required to count as a year in the sport? 3rd....who else here gets "irked" when they see someone who did one jump back in 86 and start up again in 06 put down 20 years for time in the sport? Thank You all for your time and reading my crap....as a mechanic who has actually been in the trade for close to 20 years..knowing every day that I work that I know shit about cars......and taking that over to skydiving where I know a hell of alot less...well.
