There are a few threads discussing the same topic....I am too lazy to search for ya .....last summer(or was it the summer before?) we had a little person come do the FJC at my home DZ...the harness adjusted small enough and he had a good jump....never kept at it though. and we also have another little person that jumps often at my home DZ and is a good friend of mine...he posts here as kindredspirit

I'm pretty damn sure you have to have at least a coach 1 to instruct.......you may want to reread the PIM's and get this straightened out before you talk a tad too much on a public forum

Yes, I actually teach packing at my DZ . . . I hope that doesn't paint a BIASED view of me on this topic. I get paid to teach people to pack. It is a requirement at our DZ. What are your qual's to be able to teach packing??

One point that needs to be rehashed with this s/l vs aff debate pertaining to hop and pop deployments vs freefall deployments........ in freefall your already at speed.....during a h&p..your accelerating... personally..I feel more "comphy" during a lower h&p then I would pulling at terminal speed...3k h&p=no problem..I'll even take a healthy delay...3k terminal deployment=I would soil my pants..well my heart will be beating harder sorry for the rant...just wanted to point out that there is a big difference between terminal and sub-terminal deployments....IAD baby here btw.

Warning NEWB Talking!!!!! I have a still fairly new canopy that does not like to go into the bag...he are some pointers I picked up from some really good packers and riggers at my DZ and here on DZ.com Once cacooned ...take control of the loose fabric on top of the cacoon..gather it and squish the remaining air out...pull it all together with your left hand and keep it there.....take your right hand and reach underneath the cacoon about 2/3's of the way up...gather it up and continue to squish the air out..(D bag and P/C should be ready at this point!)....by taking a grip on the canopy in this fashion you should be able to keep it from reinflating once you get off it to make your initial folds...start by folding almost in half...then left hand folds the top part back on itself....take control with knees and shins and remove your hands....now put the bag over the folded portion of the canopy by pullng the flap under and working the canopy into the bag......now stand the bag up and take the choke point of the cacoon with the lines and slider and stuff(reverse S fold) into the bag with the rest of the canopy....stow lines

Ohhhhh?...you seem quite quick to judge....with little info...sounds to me like a packing error(newb talking...I know shit)....insta canopy resulting in several broken line on a newer canopy is not usually a manufacturing fault.... think. Edited to add: that sucks Grue.
