I did my AFF in Capetown and they paid £10 for every tandem or static line we brought in. I was staying in hostels whilst I was there so at the bar at night I would get pissed people to promise they would come do a tandem then haul their hungover asses out of bed, after i'd hauled my lazy ass out. I'd give them a lift down and reap the benefits. Most I ever made in a day was £70 but after a while I had to be disdreet about it because the hostel got shitty about me doing it because they thought they were losing their comission on it even thought these were people who were never going to jump until I talk to them for ages about doing it and finally they came round. ------------------------------------------------------ May Contain Nut traces......

You want to go Mac or PC? I've got the Mac Powerbook G4, it's only an inch thick and got a 17inch screen, never looked back. If your going to use it for editing my personal preference is the mac with Final Pro Cut 4. Whatever you do don't badage it! It needs air to heal. The best thing to do is just keep applying antiseptic cream like Savlon to it to stop the scab drying out and cracking and leaving marks on the finished job. I've had many tattoos and all of them have healed differently. I suggest that someone who knows how to sew goes into business and makes good quality jumpsuits for reasonable prices and undercuts the companies that are charging the earth for shoddy pieces of work. I'm guilty of the poking fun at people who pull out in front of you. No doubt I'll slip up and do it to someone else and will have to eat my words but hey, such is life. I've written off 2 cars in 3 months! Neither of which were my fault, people just have a tendancy to want to crash into the side of my car and pull out in front of me. Gear bags are a total skank. They are just calling it a 'gearbag' and jacking up the price. Same goes for the price of jumpsuits. The majority of them are, in essence, just suped up overalls and that somehow seems to warrant charging $200 plus for them. These guys are making a killing. A good friend of mine paid 260 pounds for a jumpsuit and to be honest, it's just shit and not even worth 50 quid. From a reputable company too. So our regular night man goes on holiday and they need someone to cover his leave. Who's a whore for the money and will work 12hour night shifts? Yep, me. I have the same problem. My shoes are almost falling to pieces but I can never bring myself round to buying a new pair but when I do get round to buying a new pair I wish I had done it ages ago. Same with my guitar strings, i'll keep playing them til they snap then when I replace them I realise how shitty my old ones were and wish I had done it a long time ago. I never learn though.
