I know that you are probably kidding about being old, but I don't understand why people seem to freak out when they reach 30 or 31. People can be paranoid about losing their youth. I am 32, and I am proud of it! Hmmm...a "young buck" is interested in the mysterious, older lady, while the "dirty old man" is now interested in much younger girls. This is especially true if the man was married young and has a wife and/or children. The same applies for women dating boys. Personally, I am interested in the sexy, older man. I feel that anyone interested in obtaining the attention or attraction of an 18 year old who is above 21 years is a little scary, so, yes, you are technically a "dirty old man".

She has a very nice smile! This is my little girl, all grown up. I will scan in a baby picture later. She was just too cute as a puppy...painfully cute! Anyway, the pics scanned in are not the best quality, but isn't my baby's body position in the second picture wonderful? I truly believe that she would be a great belly-flier! She even uses her paws like a human at times, so she could probably dock like nobody's business.

A firm and loud, "NO" is more than enough to let them know you are upset. Yes, I agree. Also, I have seen people start shouting "No, no, no!" many times, but this sounds like barking and is rarely acknowledged by the dog. Say "No!" once and change your face to an unhappy/angry face, then walk away. This way they know that this is undesired behavior. Sometimes, I clap my hands together once (or stomp my foot sharply once) for emphasis just before "No!" with eye contact. Keep the tone of the voice deep and firm.

I'm glad that you posted this, but it is making me sob. I haven't been spending much time with my dog lately as she lives with her "grandparents" where she is very loved. I miss seeing her every day. Edited to add: Dogs are not allowed in my building, and my parents have a 2 acre home where Chinook swims and plays with the bunnies, squirrels, skunks, ducks. Despite not being with Mommy every day, she loves it there.

Cora, I'm so sorry about your job. ((((((((((((VIBES)))))))))))))) Where are you going to be jumping when you come out to CA? Do you know where you'd like to live or will it be determined by your work situation? Although I am sad for you, I am also happy for you as you will be making a move out west. I think that you will love it here. You seem to be the type of person who could succeed anywhere. I predict that you will excel at whatever you choose to do. Also...I am so excited that I will be able to meet you soon! -
Good luck and good ((((((((VIBES))))))))))! You can do this! I used to pull off A's from cram sessions, and so can you. Visualize, like you do for skydiving and try to relax a little. After it's done, you can sleep and eat all you want while watching tv and lounging around in your pjs. Then, get up and go jump!

Food Poisoning...HELP!!! Send vibes please...
VanillaSkyGirl replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
HAHAHAHAHA!!! That made me laugh out loud! The food posisoning is just bad luck is all. The trip was still nice. The good comes with the bad. I just need more support when I have bad things happening. I guess that I post when I need vibes. I agree that things must be better from now on. Actually, good things are beginning to happen. Sometimes I am scared of jinxing myself by announcing good things, but here it goes. I may begin new freelance work with a new company very soon. My new RW suit is in (at Elsinore), and someone e-mailed me about a main that I wanted to buy. (It's mine!) Finally, it's all coming together. Also, I am going to do my water training this Friday, I hope. The next license coming up soon is my "B"! -
Actually, the voices were sooo baby sweet and innocent. It was adorable. I feel tired, but the vibes are working.

Of course I thought of you girls. I even sent many vibes...in spanish, of course! Ciao Chica Superpoderosa!

Food Poisoning...HELP!!! Send vibes please...
VanillaSkyGirl replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
Thank you, Dtoxx. I will probably be going to Elsinore on the weekend if I feel better. The air in Taft did a number on me. (God, I sound so physically weak from being so sick for the last few weeks.) By the way, do I know you? Where you at Taft 2 weekends ago for the Otter boogie? -
During my trip in Peru, I saw the PPG in Spanish. They are called "Las Chicas Superpoderosas"! (I'm not sure if it was joined as one word or two.) I had never actually seen an episode before, but I watched this one. It was so cute. It was the one in which their red-haired arch rival became mayor and made crime legal. In the end, Las Chicas Superpoderosas made it all turn around and saved the day! (Whew!) Anyway, it reminded me of Sunshine and Skygal3!

Food Poisoning...HELP!!! Send vibes please...
VanillaSkyGirl replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
Thank you, Jason, and EVERYONE else for the vibes. You know what, Jason? For the last ten years or so, I have had very little appetite for meat. Although I am not a vegetarian, I love veggie meals. This makes my younger brother's girlfriend so happy as she is also a vegetarian and huge animal lover. I truly, truly respect that. However, eating seafood, which I soooo love, is how I got the food poisoning. Isn't that sad? -

Food Poisoning...HELP!!! Send vibes please...
VanillaSkyGirl replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
I was quite sick when I left for my trip to Peru, but I eventually got over my flu. Last night, however, I took a red-eye flight back to the states, and I had the most painful flight of my life. The excruciating, stomach-churning pain began even before I boarded the plane. IT WAS UNREAL...just under 9 hours of PURE HELL. I can't believe that I was still conscious when I arrived this morning. I had a horrible case of food poisoning compounded with antibiotics and an anti-malaria pill consumed with this fateful dinner. (The restaurant is usually so top-notch...WTF happened!?! ) It hurt to sit cramped and swollen like that for so many hours. My whole torso hurt from my neck down. I couldn't even breath. This was AFTER having endured a painful flight that same morning from Iquitos (Amazon) to Lima, Peru. (In this case, I was in pain from my chronic (private) health conditions as I had STUPIDLY run out of my daily medication.) Anyway, I was in pain already from these other problems and sick, so I had taken antibiotics. OHHH MYYYY GOOODDDDD!!! The food-poisoning combined with the pre-existing health conditions left me hot, weak and out of breath in pain. My heart was racing...I could not get comfortable AT ALL! I barely made it into the bathroom when I puked the first time. Yes...all the seafood came out. Thank God that the man sitting next to me did not eat anything on the plane because the plane food smell was making me even more nauseous. Anyway, I arrived in L.A. at almost 8 a.m., but then I had to go through immigration/customs/security. Thank God for the bathrooms as I had to run in for a little while. It's funny...there were like a dozen stalls in the restroom area, but as I'm trying to calm myself down from throwing up....another lady walked in to one right next to me and also threw up...LOUDLY. Great. Every step hurt my stomach, but I finally finished and found my luggage. I was picked up by my brother who was a tiny bit late. Every second was a lifetime. I am currently in my apartment, but I am still in pain. It is not over. Help me. Please send vibes or let me know what to do. Who has had food poisioning, and how long does this last? -
Bye, Steve! I'm off to South America!!!

1st time in a plane again...and not jumping...

I don't have a full rig, yet. I am missing a main. I am going to have to buy a new one. No one seems to want to part with their Spectre 150... -
1st time in a plane again...and not jumping...
VanillaSkyGirl replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
I also fly commercial more than the average person, but this is the first time on a plane since I have begun to jump out of them. My older brother laughed and told me to fight the urge. I told him that I have no urge without a rig on my back! -
Nighty-night, kiddies! God help Teddy... Edited: We'll always have carrots, Steven...
-
Oh Steve, don't be mad. Remember this... By the way, Steven, you would have made a pretty girl with your thick lashes and long legs.
-
Actually, you look a little better in pics than in the flesh, Steven. Edited to add: Damit shotgun! I know those ladies!!!! ROFLMAO! I edit a lot, don't I?
