I probably still wouldn't...I am sort-of old-fashioned that way. I guess that poor man crashed for no reason, then. LOL! Seriously, though, I had to keep driving. Why would I stop for someone in the next lane? Why would anyone think this could work. It is a little silly. Is it just that men's hormones control their reflexes or something?

I have known several people that had car accidents due to oggling women. OK, I am not super hot like these ladies in the pictures, but I have a funny story. I was not scantily clad at all, but I was seventeen. I was driving in the city of Los Angeles by myself for the first time, and due to traffic, the cars were driving slowly. I was in the left hand lane, and the man in the car next to me, while trying to get my attention, drove into the car in front of him. It was not a hard hit, so they kept on driving after appropriate honks and yelling from the man whose car had been hit. Then, sadly, when we came to another red light, the same silly man rammed his car hard into the car in front of him. I felt bad, but what could I really do. He should have kept his eyes on the road. We were all driving for God's sake! Poor guy...

Hmmmm...I'm a lady, and I don't get a kick out of this picture. I guess that the license plate "VINDICTIVE BITCH" was taken (or was too long for a license plate...LOL!) It's sad when women or men take their ex's to the cleaners. Vindictive people that think that the world owes them something are such a turn off. When people initially meet me, they assume that I date super rich, powerful, ultra-attractive men. (I drive a luxury car.) These men may approach me, but I find it a turn off to be looked at as a trophy girl. I date men based on how interesting or how clever that they are and on how much they can make me smile.

do you think that we need an instructors forum I think that this is a wonderful idea. I am pretty new to skydiving, and I read through EVERY forum regularly, even though I may not be interested in all disciplines equally. I still crave the knowledge as there is so much to learn. Furthermore, I believe that it's best to know all options within this sport. Knowing more about instructors and their challenges can only benefit us all.

Wow, my first flaming thread...and it's about a huge ass....my mom would be proud. I know how you feel...my first (I know, I know...BEER) flaming thread was regarding the post whore penis thread. Ya, I think that my parents would be horrified. My true post whore nature is kind-of like my sick, private life or alter-ego or something. Good times.

Cora, you will be only about a half hour or so away from me. Also, you are in between my parent's (and dog's) home and my apartment, so I can swing by and meet up with you, Michele and Lew whenever we can all coordinate our schedules. (I'd love to see Lew when she comes out!) Also, please let me know when you are moving in...we can have a "moving in" party! I will definitely help you unload your car and set up your new place. Sorry, sweetie, I didn't mean for it to be sad either. Anyway, that only happened to me after amost a year and a half after my friend's death. Alzheimers...naaaah. Yup, maybe you are just a little off right now. Hey, we all misplace/forget stuff at times. Good luck with those car keys...I hate it when that happens.

When my closest friend died suddenly in a car accident, I was very down emotionally for so long. Normally, I have an impeccable memory, but I couldn't get over certain things. I kept reliving the phone call of her death and seeing her accident in my head, even though I had was not there when she died. Even the happiness of our friendship hurt so deeply to remember as I loved her so much. I finally was able to be normal, again, when my mind somehow blocked out most of the past. I didn't even realize it at first, but yes, it happened. I lost some memory. It was self-preservation, though. I was just in too much pain mentally and emotionally for too long. Then, after a couple of years, I slowly would begin to remember some of the lost memories after many events would all come together to remind me of the past. My memory would be jogged back to the past, and it was like discovering/realizing old memories that had been in a deep sleep or fog-like state. However, all my memories of her are still not back, and it was 5 years ago on Monday that she passed away.
