One more thing, Wrongway, I rarely give men compliments on their physical appearance, but your avatar pic is pretty great. Are you smiling , yet?
-
LOL! No, no, no! That is what Pegasus wrote in response to the "Showering with the opposite sex" thread. I am completely the opposite. Only my significant other gets to see me nude. I was just wondering why she wrote that, yet is considering getting implants. It seems to me that she is comfortable with her body.

Ugh...that sucks. Sometimes we all feel like this. PM me your number, and we will talk.

Pegasus, you cannot be serious. You should get the new rig, of course! Use the money for your skydiving gear and jumps. Also, natural breasts look much nicer than the fake breasts, which you can spot a mile away. I have overheard so many negative comments from men about women that have fake breasts. They have a difficult time respecting these women because they end up getting the wrong kind of attention. Is that what you want? Anyway, Pegasus, you wrote this in the "Showering with the opposite sex" thread. "Each to their own, if your omfy with it cool, it not thats cool too. I am a very open kind of person & it wouldnt bother me. I am the first to get extra altitude of jumps and run around topless after a few drinks. We are all different & thats what makes are family so great." If you are open and happy with your body, then why change it?

vanilla flavored sodas: good or disgusting?
VanillaSkyGirl replied to payback462's topic in The Bonfire
LOL! Wait! I did really like that movie... Actually, I loved the concept of the story, but I think that it still could have been a better movie. Although it didn't completely work, it was on the edge of being fabulous. It left me thinking about it over and over, again. The original movie is a Spanish movie called "Abre Los Ojos" (1997) by Alejandro Amenábar. I love foreign and artistic films. It is such a difficult movie to pull off, but the concept still boggles my mind. -
Yes, I called. I was giggly because I don't know you, and I never do things like that. I just think that you should be careful. We have all sorts of lurkers. Also, if you have Caller ID, please keep my digits private. Thank you. Edited to add: For instance, I have had people (lurkers) that DO NOT skydive at all try to PM and e-mail me for odd reasons.

LOL! I just called him (chuteless) and told him that he probably shouldn't have posted his phone number. I can't believe that he did that.

Sponge baths...LOL! Well, how wonderful that your surgery went well, Steve. I didn't ask you, but now that you reminded us all, I am very happy for you.

Chris, I am getting a little frightened. I may have this. I just had a dizzy spell about 45 minutes ago. I have people that can take me to the hospital, but I am waiting until the morning to see my doctor. I had a violent opening on Sunday that tore a toggle keeper right off. I fought the grogginess and did not pass out. I corrected my spin and landed on my feet. I was taken to the ER that day/night. I thought that I just had some whiplash and a sliced up tongue/gums. I knew that nothing was broken, but I did not realize how hard I had also hit the back of my head. I have been so slow and groggy. I was told by my brother that I am slurring my words a little. I am struggling a little as I just went a little dizzy. I am worried about this. Does anyone know what I am talking about? It is beginning to seem serious.

vanilla flavored sodas: good or disgusting?

Funny story...I chose the name Vanillaskygirl partially as an inside joke with my now ex-BF. He insisted that I ALWAYS smell wonderful. He claims that it is quite unusual for someone to smell so good all the time, so we had a running joke that I naturally smell like vanilla. It was taken from a SNL skit with Jennifer Love Hewitt, who played a cheerleader, who claimed that she never sweat and that she naturally smelled like "vanilla". Personally, I don't even like the smell of vanilla, but it always made us laugh when he would whisper..."Mmmm, vanilla!" It was his way of telling me that I smell great! Despite my name, I have never tasted Vanilla Coke or Vanilla Pepsi because I, too, am scared that it will taste like ass. -
Oh my gosh, you look so good! It's so nice seeing a man who is usually casually clothed dress up every now and then.

Thank you for helping us to remember, Sparky.

I want to go to this boogie and participate in the hydrids, but I keep reading about this fast-falling base. I weight less than 100 lbs., and I do not freefly. Also, I recently downsized my main, so I am not too keen on throwing on some lead, which I have never worn, anyway. Help, Roy! Where can I fit in? I am a belly-flyer, but do you guys still want me if I don't fall very fast? Can't we pump up the speed with the hangers? I love being base on hybrids, but what can I do here? Maybe I can try to do my first (beer) rodeo on a fast-falling belly flyer. Any other suggestions? Also, if any ladies have a hotel room to share, please PM me. I will split the costs. Thanks.

The terrorist attacks of September 11th were sudden, violent impacts that opened up our innocent, ignorant eyes. I remember the atmospere in the months following the terrorist attacks. The sadness that our country felt was deep and long-lasting. No matter what happiness was felt, there was an underlying heaviness in our hearts. It is with us today again...haunting us lest we forget. After September 11th, a very close friend reentered the military. He was sought out and asked to go back after being out for about a dozen years. It was his calling. It is where he belongs as it fulfills him in ways that the non-civilian life never did. He is fulfilling his heroic destiny, which is beautiful. For all those that are in the military...for all the firemen...for all the policemen...for all the doctors...for all the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, friends, lovers, co-workers and to all who protected and helped us through the difficult times...speak out to them with your heart. Send them your love. Remember those that are gone, and never forget what a beautiful country that this is. As I sit here thinking of all whom over the years have given their lives to help us have the freedoms that we enjoy, I know that I am so lucky to be here. I think of this often, especially when I travel out of the country. I love visiting Peru, where I was born, but I always thank my parents for having the guts and dedication to pursue the "American Dream" for my family here in North America. I am living the dream, and I know that there is no place that I would rather be. I am and will always be proud to be an American. My love for this country will be in my heart until the day that I die.

This is a very nice thread. Thank you for beginning it, Amber. I love hearing that I am very intelligent and ambitious and that I can carry my own weight and more. It’s funny, but the best compliments are when someone has an amazed look on his/her face as he/she gives me a compliment. It is when people tell me that I am completely unlike what they had assumed that I would be like when they first saw me. It is when I am told that I went beyond all expectations. This means that I have gained someone’s hard-earned respect and is often not earned without some very difficult struggles on my part. Personally, I would have to say that with awe in his eyes/voice, a man once said, “Rosa, you are an amazing woman.” It was the way that he said it. It was like he had seen me for the first time, and not only seen me, but he had seen good things in me that I hadn’t even seen in myself. It was said after I had finished my first jump (AFF1). I will cherish that moment for as long as I live.

Small Pictures (NWS once you work them out)
VanillaSkyGirl replied to miked10270's topic in The Bonfire
I love these! The pictures are tastefully done, even though the models are too hairy. -
I am really bad at keeping things simple and being zen. I overanalyze everything, and it drives me and others crazy. I hate it. I also am very bad at learning the "sit". I know that I have not tried it too many times, but I feel like I suck at it.

Sorry, I didn't respond because I was passed out on the floor in front of my MAC. For some reason I am missing clothing, and there is a lamp shade on my head. Hmmm...I don't even own a lampshade. Uh...yes, I am a lightweight.

I'm really good at making little ones, especially the boys, smile and scream with delight! Babies and children seem to love me.
