Not much of a wait then....

We can do that Your world of superior fit and comfort is just one email away.

That's because of a cavalier attitude to removing the ends of your fingers. You seem to think that you wouldn't really care that much if it was you. If you mutilate your cat because of your furniture, you're going to get judged by people. If that's the lengths that you'll go to protect cushions, then you probably should get a parakeet instead. If losing the ends of your fingers isn;t much to deal with, don't you give it a try and get back to us with the results ?

How about getting animals spayed or neutered? Any objections to surgically removing sex organs so we don't have to worry about too many kitties and puppies roaming the streets? Which is worse? Declawing or spaying/neutering? Neither are medically necessary for the health of the animal? Neutering or spaying doesn't mutilate the animal any more than a vasectomy does for a man or a tubal ligation does for a woman. The animal tends to be healthier, have no loss of motion or function other than the ablity to reproduce, and live longer as a result. It's mainly a necessary and desirable thing for all owners that don't intend to breed, because we've removed any natural selection to the life of the animals by domesticating them. My cat is 11 years old and very healthy. In contrast, the average age for a feral cat is two years. If we want to not be overun with animals that we can't care for, it's a better option than euthanising them en masse in shelters.

Unecessary surgical mutilation of animals is banned in the whole EU as far as I'm aware. Rotts and sheepdogs have tails, cats have claws, and ears remain as supplied on the original models. I think they all look better for it too.

[reply So you're saying those breast implants I got for my yellow lab are cruel? Whatever! You people are so quick to judge. How do you know she doesn't like those breast implants? She gets so much more attention now when we go for walks. You'd have been better off spending the cash getting them for yourself.

Anybody that declaws a cat should be chased down by an angry mob and have their lips sewn together with wire. It's unnessary, inhumane and cruel. If a cat is given the correct environment, it won't damage anything. I've had my cat 11 years, and he's never so much as put a scratch om anything in my house. I provided him with his own piece of wood to work out on when he was little, and once he made it his own, he never scratched anything else.

Ahh, the Nuremburg defense. Very appropriate.

Couldn't do any more harm than the church or the government. If 90% of the population would beat him up, why hasn't it happened ? It's not as if he has any protection or is in hiding. We should be long past the reaction that people who express opinions that run contrary to our own predjudices should suffer violence for them. I wouldn't expect Ward Churchill to be going anywhere soon, as he seems both unafraid and unconcerned by those that would silence him, just because they don't like what he has to say.

I once fucked this frigid girl in Kensington High Strret on a Saturday afternoon. Then I realised it was a mailbox.

Ok, send your sons/daughters to a recruiting station, have them enlist and deploy to SWA. Then say that. I only have a cat, and he's not eligible. I'm not entirely clear on what the problem is. I'm a citizen and taxpayer. My tax contribution pays to mainatin a standing army for my protection. That's what I pay for, just like I do for police and fire services. I'm no more surprised when soldiers get shot than I am when firemen get burned. It's an unfortunate consequence of taking a job with a high risk of death or injury. I'm just not a big fan of patriotic glurge.

Please do, he's a man I greatly admire, as is anyone who speaks truth to power.

The next fatality waiting to happen.....

etc etc. We can only save those that are willing to listen. There's always going to be those who will lie and BS their way in life to get what they feel they deserve. This person will weed themselves out of the sport in one way or another eventually to make room for the next one. -
I don't. I have stuff. Leave my stuff alone. Kids can be parented, I have to leave my stuff unattended for hours at a time.

Go see a doctor. If you feel like you're swallowing broken glass when you swallow, that's probably what you've got. It's no picnic for an adult either, but the longer you leave it, the worse it's going to get. In the meantime, buy a few quarts of ice cream. That helps a bit.

I couldn't care less about them in the neighborhood. I'm not a big fan of extra judicial punishments. If you don't want them in the neighborhood, change the law to keep them imprisoned. I'd be more interested to know where all the professional burglars live in my neigborohood. I'm far more likely to find myself at the mercy of their attentions.

7000 of my 8000 or so have been under a 135. At 1.6, I get longer and better swoops with more outs and flyability than higher loaded wings. The only thing a higher loading gets me, is down faster, and that's not really all that attractive a trait in a canopy.

If their performance in Iraq is anything to go by, I sincerley doubt it.

Easy to understand. A typical M. Night Shyalaman movie, where the twist is telegraphed in the first 10 minutes, and the rest of the film is taken up with the actors going humorlessly through the motions whilst trying to avoid falling into plot holes that you could drive a bus through. Like Signs. An alien race allergic to water, travel to a planet almost totally comprised of it, have the technology to cross interstellar distances, but not to kick down a wooden door. Shittiest overpaid director since Tim Burton.

If you reline it, you better make sure to replace the lines in the correct color. If you get just one of those blue ones out of sequence, the OSI won't release.
-
I cut the OSI down on mine, but the openings were always interesting. You might want to do what the Paradactyl did to slow openings and have two sliders. The normal one and the nose slider, which was basically a length of webbing with two grommets in it that joind the two outboard nose lines. The slider gets banded to the nose line. We did some more jumps on the Dactyl this weekend, but now it's back in the box, awaiting another special occaision. The Delta II, I sold to David Layne at skydive Mobile. He may still have it.

Abortion (thread split from Canadian hunting thread)

It doesn't take either strength or courage to push women around. In fact quite the opposite. -

Presumably because having supertsition once again trounced by logic, you've come to end of your argument ? -
When you see Lummy naked on a regular basis, having a good day becomes a somewhat relative term. Rather like falling off a cliff and missing the dog doo at the bottom.
