    Finally!

After a newborn daughter triggered 5 month and 12 day break, I'm back. Made a relaxing launch from 650' tonight with the winds down the wire a bit more than I like. Nice offheading in that direction to make it interesting. Flew through the wires. Soft landing. Clean getaway too. The best part is that I remembered to buy beer beforehand because they stop selling it at 1am here. Cincy can kiss my white ass!
  2. Or is that just a guy thing?
  3. I cant count how many time's I see people misuse apostrophe's. What is s'o hard about knowing theyre to represent missing letter's and to show ownershi'p? I'm sure theres some other use for the'm, but how come I see apostrophes misuse'd even in sign's on the street? Its maddening'! edit: for grammer,
  4. Hey all, I was on a remodel jib the other day and they were throwing away this big pretty corn plant. I saved it and brought it home and we love it. The tips of it's leaves are turning brown though. It was doing that when I salvaged it. Anyone know why it's starting to do that? And if so, what can I do? Thanks Mike
  5. Yes it does depend on the station. I guess I should try moving it to the other wall?
  6. Fm. The signal doesnt get any better if I move the antenna wire around. Isn't there just some kind of booster taht you can plug in to increase it's reception?
  7. My aiwa stereo in my workshop gets terrible reception even though it's in a wide open space. The station comes in fine everywhere else and it was working fine when I had it in the house. The factory antenna is still attached but looks pretty weak. Do they make a booster to help with reception? I hate listening to static. Thanks
  8. We were having a conversation at work today about robbing high end money establishments. I'm talking $10's of millions. The movie "Heat" came up , of course. I challenged my partner to name 5 poeple in our company with whom you would trust to crew with and do a big job. I could only think of 3. We started talking about what kind of people have ideal characteristics to pull it off. We came up with: Ballsy, of course Trainable Disciplined Adaptable Fast thinking Able to keep their mouth shut in case he was caught Can you come up with 5 people that you'd run with? I wonder how much a million bucks weighs in $100 dollar bills.
  9. My woman and I were going at it last monday right before we went to pick her mom and step dad up at the airport. I was moving my mojo when I started to slip off the bed. I grabbed her under the ass and, not without anger, lifted her over to the middle. She asked what I was doing and I told her "Need more gription." She asked what that was and my eyes started to roll back and... The next day we were showing her folks samples of the tiles we might put in our new kitchen and her hillbilly step dad said "I like that one cause you git more gription." We started giggling to ourselves.
  10. Cincinatti is where old carnival workers and retired clowns go to pass away. There's nothing else note worthy. Except a thin young red haired boy with thighs so tight that they look like someone slapped two boneless, skinless chicken breasts on each leg.
  11. Do you guys know which kind you installed? The laminate is a fiberous like pressboard with a skin coating that looks like wood and usually "snaps" or locks together somehow. Engineered flooring is like plywood with layers of wood and a real oak, birch or maple layer on top. It can be free floating or glued down and some brands just interlock by tongue and groove. Sorry I wasn't more specific.
  12. I've put a lot of it in, but I've never seen it after it's been heavily used. Let me hear about how well or how poorly it's holding up. I'm considering it for my own house and I just dont know. The real hardwood is just out of my price range. Thanks Mike
  13. I love this website. It lets you put things up for trade and bartering. I'm a trading junkie and this is great. Does anyone know any other websites like this? Thanks! Mike
  14. thats the biggest cat I've ever seen
  15. Here,...(fumble in pocket)...smell THIS!
  16. Researching kitchen sinks. I see this and I don't know if this is good, above average or standard. "18/8 Chrome-Nickel Finish" 304 Stainless steel What do each of these things mean? Also does anyone really notice a difference in a 20 gauge sink vs an 18 gauge sink? I'm not sure it's worth the extra bucks. Just quieter I guess. And why the hell is it so hard to find a 10 inch deep bowl? Thanks Mike
  17. I've been having lower back pains for most of my life but this kind of pain is different. It's really dull and the source seems to be somewhere right above my hip bones. I've always chalked it up to drinking to little water during the day but a doctor who draws blood from us at work suggested possible kidney infection or my kidney stones are coming back again. I'm calling my real doctor tomarrow to get some testing done but I wonder has anyone had a kidney infection? Mike!
  18. I'm remodeling 625 square feet of my house and changing it from useless "pretty" room into kitchen. Big ass 4x9 island, 42 feet of base cabinets, 30 feet of wall cabinets, lighting atop and under the wall cabinets, 10 foot bar and a big ass tv mounted in the upper corner of the eating area for the sports bar effect. All within a budget of course. [email] How about some creative but realistic ideas that I should include in this project? Should there be an outlet in the island? Pendant lighting on the walls? How about running wiring for speakers whilke the drywall is down? What's popular and really cool to have? I'd like some ideas here people! Thanks! Mike
  19. Yeah, just not the gnarly stuff. Antennas, bridges, cliffs and the nice easy buildings are all I do anymore too.
  20. Can someone help me find a good detailed drawing/ website or something to figure out how they work? Hopefully it will help me figure out why a ship's clock must be built different. Thanks Mike

    Anal Toys

Some of the moments in my life that I most treasure involve anal toys. I've written songs about them.
  22. A good hot shower in a tub where you're not afraid to step Your great big towel Having some leftover pizza with a late night beer Going to bed on my big ass comfy bed I try to remember things like this when I'm at some nasty ass job at work and take into consideration how good I have it. Take a minute to realize how many things around you that you have that really make you happy. Keeps me in a good state of mind. That and I'm going jumping tomarrow!
  23. My wife was bent over the bathtub scrubbing the floor. I told my son to "go look at mommy's tail." He ran downstairs and pulled up the back of her sweatshirt and pulled her sweatpants down and my wife yells out "What are you doing!?!" but she cant move because she's got soap all over her hands and he says "I look for mommy tail?" I laughed and laughed.
