1. how many sets of like 5-6 reps? 4? or as many as I can do? I like working out HARD at least 2 times a week, like so hard I can barely move my arms afterwards, thats fun. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

3.
Urine has protein. Maybe that'd be a good'un. No, on second thought...
I thought the protein in urine is broken down too far to be useful to your body? Although there were tribes of indians that would ingest "magic mushrooms" and then piss in a bottle and pass it around, the metabolites remained partially unbroken and were enough to "elevate" others. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
4. I usually work out hard 2-3 times a week and then lift just like light free weights another 2-3 times. When I work out "hard" (relative for me) I do reps of 10-12 on inclined and flat bench(maybe only 3 sets usually), and then tack on a whole other bunch of free weights after that. How can you tell if you're working out too hard? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

6. whats in it that makes it so effective? I've been trying to gain muscle mass to no avail, been eating good amounts of protein, TONS of carbs, drink lots of fluids, but yet I still can't keep up with my metabolism. I bet on a good day I eat easily 4-5 thousand calories. I lift weights 4-5 times a week, pushups, crunches, pullups, all day long. How did you gain weight in AFGHAN and I can't in north carolina!? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
7. www.cajunchickens.com there's my good deed for the day, thanks everybody for responding, I've been watching tubes for a few minutes now and am even more in awe! I can't wait to start freeflying, now I need the damn jump numbers --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
8. ok, so like 2-3 years ago I found these things kick ass, and while I am a SKINNY SHORT bastard, I think that it helps me from becoming SKINNIER AND...shorter?! What protein mix do you use?? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
9. yeah, those are no fun, and after watching a short crash clip over and over I sorta realize its impossible to learn anything from it except DONT DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT. Trying to learn what he did wrong with the risers/toggles/harness shifts on a crappy video file is an exercise in futility... --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
10. I think the "clicky" folks have some sort of search engine that they run to look for unclickable urls and pounce on them. These clicky people are on the posts in like 1-2 minutes usually, its taken on a level of professionalism. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
11.
So, what was it on the video that changed her mind? Had she never seen a video of you skydiving before?
not trying for this to sound sexist at all ( I Hope it doesnt). Maybe it took her seeing a female she knew to figure out that hey she could be comfortable in the sky in a predominantly male environment. (Did that sound sexist?) --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

17. I agree, when it comes to talking about manufacturer's reps I personally will always choose to be very careful about what I say. This goes for any business related to skydiving, it seems skydiving is such a small world, you can seriously ruin someone's business with a few well placed comments. Now, not saying sunrise rigging is THAT small, but don't slam them unless theres really a justifible problem. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
Never say never. You may get good enough that you'll be confident carrying a smaller reserve. Until then, conservative is smart
right, or instead of conservative, logical. I don't know how my flaring capabilities are unconscious but I would bet theyre not good --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
the other is the manufacturer's recommended maximum weight
so what WL do the manufacturer's generally recomend then? I couldn't see a reserve manufacturer recomending it as a good idea to load a reserve at 1.4. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

the TSO'd weight is a lot though (at least for me at 125 pounds), so much that I'd probably never have to worry about it. I was thinking more of the safety issues of it such as, unconscious under reserve, you don't want anything greater than 1-1.1 or so WL. Maybe we're talking about two different things, but I suppose the two numbers HAVE to be met and recognized (the case that if one of the numbers arn't being met, then its dangerous, regardless of whether either the WL or TSO'd weight is still met) So why do people fly like 113 reserves when they weigh ~180? That sounds stupid/dangerous. I can't envision myself going over 1.1 with my reserve EVER, no matter how "good" I get at skydiving. I think I'll like a nice fat .8 WL for my first reserve
22. hey! This is actually a good point! The first time I saw the "WIN A FREE MIRAGE" was the second I was clicking a link to another window, I got all in a fuss and worked up over the fact that I missed my chance to win a free mirage. I am such a dork, but a corona sounds nice. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
23. I guess on average your plan is much easier to teach students to freefall, hell, I wish I could of got 1-2 hours of tunnel time before I first skydived. But my first skydive was my AFF level 1, and while it was nerve wracking, I'm glad (now after I have AFF finished) that I did it this way, cause I am on a tiiight budget. But I could see how someone would want to spend a little more money and have that security. Point taken. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

just to clarify riggerrob by overloading you mean loading a reserve at more than 1.1:1, correct? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
25. on the profile I mean, where there is instructor, rigger, etc etc check boxes. Just curious? That might help divulge a little background on where people are coming from when they post. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
