  4. yeah, put another 500+ on that stiletto. Know it 100% in and out. 100 jumps isn't gonna give you that dispite what you what you think. my pics & stuff!
  5. Or install the lineset yourself and you only pay just under $200 for the lines themselves. my pics & stuff!
  6. Here's the deal. I have a cypres that's expired, but the batteries are only 6 months old. And I want to put them in another rig, for the remainder of their 2 year life. My biggest concern is that some jack ass nazi rigger cop know-it-all is gonna get his/her panties all in a bunch and let everyone know how I fucked up. I don't see anything wrong with it....unless I'm missing something. If it's all documented on the data card......well? my pics & stuff!
  7. Hate to say it Randy but your Racer has the short risers described above. Maybe borrow a rig from someone you don't like... he he he. JJ my pics & stuff!

  12. Yeah, I did the same.....AFTER I already cleaned my sensor a few times. I haven't had any problems...yet. I know I'm probably playing with fire, but oh well. Not problems at all yet......yet. my pics & stuff!
  13. I've done mine several times. Maybe I've gotten lucky, but it get's spendy to have someone else do them. And it adds up. 50 bucks a shot gets old..... BUT, on the other hand, replacing the sensor sounds like it's more spendy. I'll keep cleaning mine. my pics & stuff!
  14. click on that CNN link above and then hit the link for the video (down the article a few lines), there are other pics from different angles. I was thinking it was fake too, but not now. my pics & stuff!

  21. that had to have been a LOT longer ago than '02. There is no road, no housing develpoment close by, no Olympic center, and most of all, no DZ there at the end of the lake......sorta odd. my pics & stuff!
  22. not sure about that being a good idea. If you have a hard fast opening, you are gonna pay dearly for it. My opinion is to look forward and hope for the best on opening. A twist in the neck like that could be very bad fucking news. oh yeah, and DO toss that pc good. my pics & stuff!
  23. The problem is the batteries. They are the 'S' series, which stands for SHITTY. You have to buck up and buy new batteries, that's just the bottom line. Here's some tips. Fully discharge the battery before charging, the battery WILL get a memory and stop holding a full charge even though it says it has it. And mostly, DO NOT open the view screen to watch vids. It eats the battery very fast....VERY fast. I speak from experience. I'm on my second camera, but my first was a PC1 which I have well over 1400 jumps on. You have to baby the thing. It's not a bad camera, it's just a shitty battery. And you can't put the other series batts on it. Get an NP-FS31, it will last you a long time as long as you baby the battery like I was saying. But it's a fat batt and may not fit in a d-box if that's what you have. Don't waste your money on the little slim ones. there you go, and good luck! my pics & stuff!
