  1. Yes, it's VERY possible....I got just a small taste of it and have good friends that do it year round. But living the life has it's drawbacks. You have to live cheaper, and really love the sport. my pics & stuff!
  2. send it back to Kelly... actually, it's pretty easy, I've done a few and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. BUT, it's a for sure 2 person job....one to sew and one to pick their nose and watch....and hold the rig upright. Just unstitch the BOC, I left the stitching in place where it's NOT holding the spandex....the mouth side. Then insert and sew.....slowly. my pics & stuff!
  3. pretty funny... thanx dave. my pics & stuff!
  4. won't work for me either. It's all updated but no video....just audio. Would love to see it....any chance of someone converting it to a MOV file?.....something easier to view? my pics & stuff!
  5. Same here, agree with what everyone has said. Keep the commitments, and then go where you would be most happy.....leaving on good terms. my pics & stuff!
  6. Plus (going off of memory here), the PC5 uses the S series batteries...which stands for 'fucking piece of shit won't hold a charge' series. I would stay away from them. If you don't, you'll quickly be saying "fuck, my piece of shit battery is already dead, I just charged it"! my pics & stuff!
  7. Think of this though.... Your rig is in your car, your are driving say 30 minutes, and the cypres/vigil is constantly monitering the slightest different in pressure changes=battery usage. I always turn it off before the drive home. I'm not worried about it firing. my2cents my pics & stuff!
  8. Does it jusitfy you to jump under unacceptable wind conditions? what is unnacceptable? When you go somewhere for a 6 month contract job, you are expected to work in windy conditions....that's why they don't hire your average weekend TI. I'm not advocating them, but will say they worked great for me, and wish I could still do them here. my pics & stuff!
  9. You should have put in the category of "only with qualified pilots". I've done a lot of them and think if done correctly, they are safe, and the quality of the landings (especially in high winds) goes up a LOT. Riding the elevator straight down...maybe even backwards in high winds suck ass. I'm sure there are a lot out there that will agree...and of course the nay sayers. my pics & stuff!
  10. couldn't agree more! Doesn't hurt the back when filming the fatties....and much easier to get under and film that student that refuses to look up... Plus awesome opening shots! my pics & stuff!
  11. wow, totally remember that! He fell in and burned his hand really fucking bad...right? Refused to go to the hospital too that night. I always wondered what happened to him. Think it was during one of the geek bros. Yeah, good times! my pics & stuff!
  12. shit, yer right! Oh well, damage done. Though this was a couple of years before dickhead got bad. my pics & stuff!
  13. I'm glad I got to jump there. Here's my contribution. JJ my pics & stuff!
  14. Stay away from Pinnacle Studio version 10 for now. Stick with version 9 if you decide to use Studio. Version 10 is so unstable and has so many bugs that it is virtually unusable. I have basically trashed mine after using Pinnacle 7-9 for the last six years. Check the Pinnacle Studio 10 forum if you don't believe me. They're not expecting a decent patch until the end of January. If history repeats, it will take 2-3 patches to get it fixed. I second that! Wish I had read the forum BEFORE buying mine. my pics & stuff!
  15. a buddy has the same issue. Now it's just a piece of shit camera that has to be always plugged in. I guess Sony fixed it on the following models. That's all I know. my pics & stuff!
  16. well fuck, this sucks! I wish Andy the best, and hope all the staff migrate to wherever he starts up again. I know I would. my pics & stuff!
  17. relax dude, I know the guy and am flipping him shit! my pics & stuff!
  18. same here for the past 4 years, and no insurance. Keepin the fingers crossed, and the head outa the ass!...not too mention, a full time students during the winter! my pics & stuff!
  19. you must not like your girlfriend too much if you got her a reflex....he he he my pics & stuff!
  20. how's that lanc switch working for you there? I can see that being an issue of turning the camera on and off with bumping it on spazzing students and then on the toggles. And I totally agree, the student is the best place for the camera.....assuming they film themselves and don't kill you with it. Here's some from when I had to ride bitch.....pretty good results from the front. my pics & stuff!
  21. That's nice but a long way from TX, How long have you been going? What kind of art is it? Do you like it? have you heard anything about mixed arts? Does it make you flexible enough to perform oral sex on yourself? (just seeing if your paying attention) .....Napolean Dynamite???? my pics & stuff!
  22. I've dropped mine I don't know how many times, and is still ticking after 4300+ jumps. my pics & stuff!

use 'em and like it. No problems at all, but do plan on spending an hour setting it up. It's better if you have a high speed connection. If you get disconnected on a dial up, it can be very irritating. my pics & stuff!
