  1. I made this for my son and he absolutely loves it. It has pillow handles, leg straps and a BOC. He wears it at the DZ and all the other kids are pretty much jealous. anyone else make one? Would love to see pics. my pics & stuff!
  2. Pretty sure they don't make 'em anymore my pics & stuff!
  3. larger! my pics & stuff!
  4. Is this a published book by any chance?...and if so any idea where one can be picked up? my pics & stuff!
  5. anyone having problems downloading this? I am, won't open completely. I just get the opening page and that's it. my pics & stuff!
  6. just to add....I have my own design, but basically the same thing. The trick is to pull the rear grommets all the way down, and then lock them in place with the front ones over the locks. That keeps the rear of the slider from occasionally creeping back up. They rock. my pics & stuff!
  7. I think we all feel the same, but we don't need the riggin nazi police to get all wound up. PChapman said he already talked to the guy and it's been settled. This is a learning experience for me for sure. After reading this, I re-opened a reserve I did a few days ago to double check, and then found a main that was connected wrong.....and jumped that way for a long time. Remember we are ALL human. I'm sure even you have made a mistake a two. Negative attitude about giving someone a talking to will just move more readers to NOT post learning experiences. my pics & stuff!
  8. I agree with the dacron approach too. I used 600lbs for the whole deal, not just the toggle end. They will last longer than the original line set anyway. Very easy to work with and bartak/sew. Leave yourself enough at the toggle end so you can lengthen them if you need to. my pics & stuff!
  9. can you say it one more time? my pics & stuff!
  10. Scott, you are sorta a smart dude, MAKE YOUR OWN!!!! I'm STILL on my original I made several years ago....and yes, I have a back up that I have not needed yet. Total cost for 2 switches was 10 bucks at the most. (figure out how to do the search on here...I have pics of what I made and how to make it) my pics & stuff!
  11. thanx for EVERYONE that has sent me manuals. I appreciate it. my pics & stuff!
  12. I know this is an old post, but I'm looking for the PDF myself. Thought I had it but don't. All my manuels were stolen a few summers ago with all my rigging tools. Sparky mailed me a disc with a lot of manuels on it, but no vector 2..... anyone please? my pics & stuff!
  13. short arms was here in oregon, the others were in Eloy. my pics & stuff!
  14. thanx man, I like them too! Here's my all time favorite. I have a poster size of it on my wall. Her arms are behind her, so it looks like they are short. I'm always asking her why her arms are short and how does she wipe her ass with them. my pics & stuff!
  15. I just don't really see it as a sport. Yes, you can compete in it, and some parts can be very competitive. For me, it's my life. And I've also competed in it and have a nationals gold to show for it....he he he, doesn't make sense....look at the monkey. my pics & stuff!
  16. but it doesn't work that way. I may do 7 tandems one day, 10 team jumps the next day, 15 freefly during the next week, and then back to work/team jumps the following weekend. So to try and just find out what freefly jumps I've done, the math would be way too time consuming. The set up that Jumphog has is more like it. You get a running total as you go. Now, just the thought of putting 4400+ jumps on a spreadsheet seems like a LOT of work....he he my pics & stuff!
  17. yeah, it's the counting I was hoping the spreadsheet would do automaticaly. Say you want to know how may freefly jumps you did, but they are here and there spread out through thousands of tandems and videos......that's a lot of counting....you follow? my pics & stuff!
  18. ok, so how do you extract exactly how many jumps say you have on a specefic canopy? I played with it, and it won't show the number, it just hides all the other jumps that DON'T have it. my pics & stuff!
  19. Yeah, totally agree.....assuming lineovers NEVER happen on sport mains....basically the same system as a reserve. I'm not saying they should be used or not be used. More of 'why not'. And a tailgate isn't comlex by any means. And if that was the attitude, then what would you have to say about the skyhook? my pics & stuff!
  20. so you are saying they will do NO good at all......really..... my pics & stuff!
  21. if that was the case, then why are there still line over's on mains with sliders? I've often wondered why reserves don't use them either. my pics & stuff!
