John, thats the second time, I believe that you have brought up the "small business people cheat on there taxes" with me. Old buddy YOU MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE BIGGEST CHEAT when you ran your business. It may have been the biggest badest most profitable business in the world that you got out of because you wanted to go back to or start teaching. But I run my books clean. +1 "Lucky" do you really think that a business owner who makes $250,000 a year and pays (currently) 41% taxes is rich? If so, since we small business folks got SO much under Bush and Regan would you just state simply how much would be fair. Just a percentage. I really am interested. I mean go back to the old and make it right at 46% or so. Please answer that if you will. I am for a progressive tax rate but when does it just go over board? LOL, you right John it won't. It will effect the warehouse employee who won't get hired and some of the raises that won't be given. I admire people like John that don't mind paying a bit more so our gov can spend a bit more on programs. John (I believe) thinks that the gov can fix the problem. I'm not bsing here I admire him - but I'm not him. I do not believe the gov needs more money they need to spend wisely what they are already getting. My standard of living won't go down with new taxes. I'll pass them along to my customers just like everyone else. But I am feel nervous so I'll be a little more careful about hiring raises and such. (21 way and video) We will offer slots FIRST to the people who have a slots on the GSR and who will be jumping Thursday, then others. Lot's of folks are asking where they are slotted for the event. Great news, Jim Graham has agreed to organize the bench for the Georgia State record. Many of you know Jim for 4/8/12 ways and numerous world records. Jim will be putting together challenging jumps for people who are on the bench for the record and others. I promise you these will be some fun jumps!!! Heck I don't even know who is going to be ON the GSR but there will be plenty over the age of 40 to do a fast POP's record. Right now we hope to have the based doing some practise jumps Thursday - thats 8 of 22......

Sorry John your grammer is better than mine. If you think a citizen with a machine gun has parity with a platoon that is artillery back with air support ect, ect.....well thats your right. IMO the farmer against the British was a closer match than today. And I don't believe you can arm yourself to reach parity. To your second point, for the most I agree. Should the American military turn on the population I believe that many of the military would revolt. I don't believe I need a machine gun to protect myself or my family from the goverment, I believe that voting is the best way to do this. I support your right to disagree. No John I don’t. But I believe the founding fathers had a different sit of circumstances than we do. The Constitution was meant to be a living and breathing thing. Core principles, such as the right to bear arms have to be somewhat adjustable, but not disposable. During the founders time warfare progressed very slowly. A farmer with a weapon was close to a soldier in ability to fight. Today a citizen with a high powered deer rifle is formidable….but against a platoon of normally equipped soldiers? A machine gun in the house is not going to create parody. I understand the slippery slope part of yours and other worries about that. To a degree I share it to. I enjoy your post, but you like TK live are the far right and left of where most Americans sit. (IMO) TK would go to far one way and I believe you may the other way.
