Final post before the event! Everyone is slotted and we have an excellent team. We have good bench. The plane captains have been in touch with everyone from their planes. We are doing everything that we can to make this event as safe, successful and fun as possible. Please keep the following in mind: 1 Have your waiver filled out before you arrive if at all possible 2 If you hope to be on the POP’s record have your POP’s number WITH YOU 3 This is a cash boogie. Regular jump tickets are $25. Record tickets at $28. We hope to do at least 4 jumps Friday and 5 Saturday. You will receive a full refund for any tickets not used. 4 PLEASE review your position in the formation, be able to walk to it at the start of the dirt dive. I am B04 and will be looking up the line of flight. I will be in a white suit with a white helmet (yes, a big old marshmallow). If you can’t find me in the base you have a problem. 5 If you won’t be able to make the THURSDAY 6:00 briefing and dirt dive, please e-mail me. ONLY e-mail me if you won’t make it. If you have a travel delay please call me 229-224-0557 6 If you aren’t going to make the THURSDAY at 6:00 meeting plan on being at the dz in jump suit at 7:45 to meet with your plane captain for briefing. 7 Bring your weights, alternate jump suits, baggy shirt whatever you think you need. This will be fast falling but bring all your tools. LOL, first Chris is CORRECT the POP's gig is an add on and we want to make everyone as happy as possible - to a point Here's the plan. We will take the FIRST 21 POP's jumpers at 12:00. To get on this load you MUST have your POP's number. We will do another POP's jump at 4:00. That one will be selected by the plane captains and myself. If your on the first one and do a good job than you'll most likely be on the second.... ....if we need a second Word of warning, we have 16 POP's jumpers who are also on the GSR who are going to be at the dz early Thursday who have indicated a desire to do the POP's record. That leaves 5 slots for non GSR folks to stake a claim. BTW, thats not to say that other's can't get there on group of XX and attempt to beat it - I think that would be great. IN FACT we will only do a 21 way and video. IF there is another group they can do 22 and video and beat our record! How's THAT for a deal? Perhaps where you are John, but my wife was a tenured school teacher. I understand it, how it works and more importantly how it DOESN'T LOL, and if you believe "typical union contracts" work well I have some land to sell you. Tenure has been beat up with you enough already. Your IRS quote was offensive to small business owners who do pay there taxes.
