    To be fair....this doesn't prove if the shooting was justified or not. If they prove that he was moving toward the officer, than perhaps....There is no doubt that there was a physical attack on the officer. I don't buy for a minute that the officer tried to pull him in the car... What I don't understand is that if he was shot that many times wouldn't it be fairly simple to determine which direction the bullets hit the man? If he was running away? Robbing a store, physically attacking on officer and being high don't justify shooting someone running away.     Noticing that the leaks keep coming....it seems that the idea is to slowly leak all the bad stuff out to prepare the public for a no charge. Here's a prediction. In a few days pictures of the officers injuries will show up...leaked. I'm trying to follow this objectively, so far it would SEEM: 1. There was a robbery. 2. There was a confrontation within the police vehicle. 3. Shots were fired in the vehicle. 4. Shots were fire out of the vehicle. 5. None of the witness (other than the police officer) are supporting the claim that the officer was being charged. 6. Varying accounts of where the victims arms were at the time of the fatal shot(s) 7. The victim had been recently smoking pot. 8. The history that we have been given does not seem to indicate that the police office had a history of problems or violence with dealing with the public.     Just as productive as making it sound like it is an everyday thing, it isn't and I'm sure you know that. ANY killing it a tragedy, when a police office kills unnecessarily it is even worse as we place our trust in the police. For me this - and others - has become the tipping point. I believe that the right to own a gun has got ahead (to far) of the responsibility to own a gun. The police are jumpy because they get shot at a LOT more than say the English police. Second, all police officers should be required to have body video - no video no gun - and the Fed's should pay for it (we the people) Did any of you see the video of the kid that got shot when he pulled his hand out of his shirt? The office is telling him to stop? (Personally I think the kid wanted to die) The video ended all the b.s. about the kid raising his hands.... I'm sure other video's could prove other cops guilty.     Really, "quite frequently"? Given the severity of the problem you see these responses as often enough? You see a lot of speeches, I guess. I see a weak ineffective amount. As far as you google example. I didn't need it. I had researched it. Again I don't see it as a great effort. Someone called me a "redneck" here.... (Oh and I was crushed) Some may think I'm a racist. I don't believe I am. My point was that a police shooting of a black youth gets a lot more attention than the "normally" black on black murder rate. Certainly that is because a police shooting is RARE when compared with the black on black murder rate. It's just a numbered fact.     What I find interesting is that my friends from England and Canada try so hard to frame this whole police shootings as it would be in their country. It isn't England or Canada.... and it isn't the same. The police here are NOT generally dealing with what your police are as far as armed bad guys. You can talk about gun control (I'd agree in some manner), you could talk about better training (I'd agree in some manner) But the current FACT is that in America our police deal often with armed thugs who are more than willing to use a weapon - and dear Canada and England don't as a rule. America has problems, no doubt....guns are a big part, that situation leads to police officers making tragic mistakes - being human they don't want to die.
