    I totally do not mean this disrespectufully, but you do know that EMT's only make around 25K/yr? That is a very skinny income to raise kids on, esp when you have to pay for child care to work your shifts. If you're a good EMT and enjoy the profession, you'll likely end up back in school for paramedics. I only brought it up because you sound like you're frustrated and struggling so much for an end that wont change your situation a great deal. Best of luck.. dont be shy to ask friends for free babysitting. If they're good friends, they'll understand and let you get them back in favors and other ways that wont cost you money.

    Spence, you need to get TiVo. So you can watch all your favorite shows when YOU want to, and when theres nothing but crap on TV. I've programmed keywords in to catch all shows that involve Skydiving or BASE jumping. And programmed it to record all shows about travel and Paris. Plus all the shows I like to watch regularly but don't catch. Its pretty coo.
