Interet forums are places for discussions. When someone posts their opinion... people can agree or disagree.. post different opinions. Which ipod did you end up getting? I've lost mine (again). The 80g classic is a good price.. but its not as cool as the newer ones. I dont want a touch because my phone already does most of that stuff. I'd just get an iphone before getting a touch, but not right now. 8g nano for $199 isn't bad.. though I would rather have at least 16g, which I don't see in the nano. Am I missing any other options?

I haven't been posting as much lately because of the number of forum regulars who don't skydive and/or don't participate in the community outside of dz.com. I think its great that people have made friends on here and want to maintain those relationships. However, going back to when I first signed up here, it was because I wanted to talk to people I'd actually be able to meet someday and jump with. If I had come across these forums as they've been lately, when I was a new jumper, I would never have signed up or come back. I've traveled the country and met literally hundereds of awesome skydivers due to relationships I've made on this site. Its getting harder to find more people like that on here though. You can think I'm a bitch or a snob for expressing this opinion.. I really don't care. There are lots of social networking sites out there now.

The Star Spangled Banner started out as an English drinking song? I know that "my country tis of thee" and "God save the Queen" are to the same tune, but thats not the National Anthem. Well.. if I ever sing the National Anthem at the superbowl, I'll sing it straight up! And no pre-recorded vocal tracks either!

Maybe she doesn't realize that is The Farms anniversary weekend. Isn't it?? I dont know.. typically people go to the drop zone to skydive. The Farm has changed a lot in the past couple of years. Well.. Pops is still there.
