Nah, the Canadians are just more easy-going and tolerant than Americans. FallRate

The Classic: "You couldn't pour piss out of a boot with a hole in the toe, and directions on both sides." The Nonsensical: "On the night you were conceived...I'm thinking your mother took it in the ass that evening!? FallRate

1. A state of mind or emotions; disposition: an even temper. 2. Calmness of mind or emotions; composure: lose one's temper. If you think of temper as it applies to metallurgy, then you can simply think of it as "hardness" (simplified). And this is essentially how it is applied with people. When people lose their temper, they have lost their "hardness" or "toughness". As much as we are led to believe that those who exhibit anger and rage are tough or hard, it's actually the person who can retain control of their emotions that is a stronger person. FallRate

This has always bugged me: People who use "strong temper" or "huge temper" to mean that the person is bad tempered. Temper is not anger! Someone with a strong temper is not easily angered. Also, people who say "have your cake and eat it too", which is most everyone. It's "eat your cake and have it too"! The predominance of the former structure is probably why so few people actually understand what it means. Oh yeah, and people who refer to December 23rd as "Christmas Eve, Eve". Fucktards! FallRate

I thought OH was bad, then I moved to ND. It was around -21 this morning and I had to go to the store. It is currently -10, but "feels like -33". My toes hurt! FallRate

Speaking of avatars...anyone know how to display them. I don't feel like looking around for the instructions. Thanks. FallRate

Yeah, those overly sensitive people are just a drag on the Dropzone.com community. Well them, and all those people who irrationally believe that a Michael Jackson joke means the end of the world. FallRate

To hell with Britney! I'm still upset that Alyson Hannigan is off the market. One perfectly good fantasy, shot all to hell. FallRate

There should be a special branch of something or other, to hunt these people down and beat the living shit out of them! FallRate

A friend of mine took his truck into the dealer to have scheduled service. When he got the truck back there was a large scratch next to the door. He told the dealer about it and the dealer said that he would agree to have the scratch fixed, but my friend had to cover any further cost for the rental vehicle he had been using for the day. My friend decided to take his truck elsewhere to be fixed, and he left the rental, running with the keys locked in it, right in the entrance to the dealership. Didn't fix the truck, but it made him feel better. FallRate

Ahh...a moment of zen. I shall meditate on this sentiment. FallRate

Talk about conspiracies! I'm thinking that someone was paid to make the allegation, throw this poor guy off his game, and therefore give the Buckeyes an edge. This has Vegas Mafia written all over it! FallRate

Yep, Rush was on the list. Can't remember where they fell. Snob! FallRate

Actually, "Sports" was a good album. "Walking on a Thin Line" was a great single. The list was intersesting overall. Just some very strange choices of rank. FallRate

Quade, I honestly don't mean to be argumentative here. That said, I am talking about someone reproducing the same speed and accuracy with the same (model of) rifle under the same circumstances (moving target and such). As far as I know, and I am fairly confident in this, it has not been done. At least if it has, it isn't widely known. If it has been accomplished, I won't take it as an offense to my position. I would actually like to know. But I won't accept speculation as truth. Peace! FallRate
