I currently reside in Buxton, ND. It's about 20 miles south of Grand Forks, and 60 miles north of Fargo. It started snowing yesterday, so I'll be inside for most of the next five months. FallRate

Best of luck, Brother! FallRate

He lived well. FallRate

I'll have to see about getting a photo of the Cub. FallRate

I had to hang both feet out the door, and then scoot forward. There is a bar right above the front seat which made it a bit easier. Had to stand on the gear strut and fall off in front of the wing struts. My biggest worry was getting stuck during the climbout, but it worked. And the pilot had the biggest grin! As far as beer, it's going to the pilot. He didn't even charge me for gas. There are some very nice people in Northern Minnesota. Not much of a jump season though. FallRate

I've been working at the Thief River Falls, MN airport for a while now, and one of the mechanics at the FBO there has wanted to take me up to watch someone jump out of his plane. Well, today the opportunity presented itself, so I went. Getting out of a Super Cub is no easy task, but it's do-able. And the ride to altitude is very scenic. I'll never forget that jump!

You should never deny someone his or her right to say "No." Go ahead and ask. FallRate

I'll take an extremist over an arrogant, condescending hypocrite. FallRate

Here's an idea to further the efforts of all those concerned with air quality... Ban all Power Sports. All those millions of gallons of fuel being burned so a priveleged few can better enjoy their weekends. This would of course include, Automotive Racing, Boating, Motorcycling, Dirt-Bikes, Snowmobiles, any weekend Joy-Ride in the family Mini-Van, etc...and... Oh, yeah.... SKYDIVING!!! You have to love the irony (and complete hypocrisy) inherent in an individual's position that points a finger at those who drive "gas guzzlers" or "high emission" vehicles or whatever, while enjoying the benefits of internal combustion to reach jump altitude. Perhaps putting a stop to all skydiving is a bit extreme. We can start slowly. We'll just ground all 182's in the country. In case you haven't noticed they still run off leaded gasoline. FallRate

I suppose a PM to Rhino was out of the question? Greenies shouldn't troll. FallRate

If I make it to the Boogie, I'll have to leave Monday morning, and will be going through Indi on my way back to ND. Will you guys fit in a Civic? FallRate

This is a poor list. FallRate

Actually there has been a greater accountability of suspected POW's and MIA's from the Vietnam war than any other war we have been involved in. As of a few years ago the US Army had staff stationed in Vietnam with the sole purpose of looking for the remains of US soldiers and investigating the possibility of remaining POW's. The Captain I saw interviewed said that access is freely given by the Government of Vietnam to any site that the US Military requests. The Government of Vietnam recognizes that this is a serious concern facing the American people, and that there would be little chance of normalized relations unless the issue were addressed as effectively as possible. It has helped to answer a lot of questions about many MIA's, and has brought closure to the lives their family members. FallRate

Is Crack use widespread in Egypt, or is this an isolated case? FallRate

Hey, about a year-and-a-half ago, I drove all the way from North Dakota to SSM, and you left me hangin'. FallRate

Yes, you are correct...unfortunately. "World Opinion" is at stake. Disregarding the fact that this has been the most humane military action taken in history, many individuals and groups will look to demonize any action taken by the US Military. And many, who claim to have had (solely) the American servicemen and women in mind when they opposed this war, will waste no time in condemning those same individuals when they take the necessary steps to defend themselves. A bit confused here...does this telescope render digital images? FallRate

Actually, if you want really bad conditions, transfer them to the Richmond, Indiana Municipal Jail...a real shithole, that place! And if you're a skydiver, you automatically get an upgrade to the maximum sentence allowed by law. FallRate -

Really? Funny, considering that Lincoln suspended the privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus during the Civil War. FallRate -

I would recommend a NAMBLA meeting over a Friends of Bill gathering. FallRate -
This got me thinking. Why is that anyone trying to dismantle a bomb in the movies assumes that the person who built the bomb followed the acceptable color coding? FallRate
