  1. I assume that takes wind chill into account. FallRate
  2. I was impressed and a bit shocked that Ermey's character turned out to be gay in "Saving Silverman". Seems he has a healthy sense of humor. FallRate
  3. Say, a wife complains to her husband about him leaving the toilet seat up. A passive-aggressive husband may elect to remove the toilet seat completely in order to solve the problem. "But, Honey, if there is no seat, I can't leave it up." FallRate
  4. P/A types rarely expect a swift kick in the ass. It might work. FallRate
  5. Ahh, Kallend, you gonna squirt a little? FallRate
  6. Gravitymaster 1 Kallend 0 (and three penalty minutes for the insult) FallRate
  7. That's not simply nit-picking. The fact that the lead singer of the Dixie Chicks was pandering to a foreign audience in such a way is what pissed most people off. FallRate
  8. Yeah, what's up with that? Do women fast up until the time they are married. I've never been there, but I have a few friends that are there. Maybe I should ask this in the Women's Forum... Nah, I prefer my jewels attached. FallRate
  9. Kelly, who's getting married? FallRate
  10. Shotgun!!! You pick the music, I'll grab the map... Let's see...Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation to appease certain radical members of his own political party: the Republicans. Hey, look! SLUG-BUG *whap* On a slightly more serious side. While Republicans are quite often sterotyped as racist (e.g. calling an Hispanic Republic a "house mexican" simply because he or she is a member of the party), it is a good idea to keep in mind that Democrats do not walk on water when it comes to issues of race. 11. Sorry, I'm not an SUV guy...they all look the same to me. (Perhaps I need some sensitivity training. ) But I love my Civic. Great little car and I like good gas mileage. FallRate
  12. I know I'd lay awake at night worrying about it. FallRate
  13. And another fine upstanding Democrat. FallRate
  14. It strikes me as a generic SUV that's missing the back part of its roof. A bit pointless. Not a slam on Hondas. I like 'em. I drive one. FallRate
  15. Nah, sew the bastard! Unless this a sufficient reason for you to buy a new canopy you have had your eye on. FallRate
  16. Don't like the odds, Kallend? Then don't keep a firearm in your home. You do have that right, don't you? Again...want to know how to save about 30 lives a year? Anyone? FallRate
  17. Did you know that individuals with bathtubs in their homes are at least 93 times more likely to die from a fall in a bathtub than those who do not live in homes where a bathtub is installed. To my mind, this is unacceptable! The BFA (Bathroom Fixture Association) has for years blocked legislation which would put an end to this scourge. Are we going to let these purveyors of porcelain peril control our government through their seedy lobbyists!? I say NO!!! FallRate
  18. Residents in Toledo wanted to succeed to Michigan a few years back. I don't anyone outside Toledo really cared all that much. FallRate
  19. I know how we can save an average of 30 lives a year. Guess how! FallRate
  20. For the love of God! It was a joke! Sheesh And by the way, Santa isn't real! FallRate
  21. Strictly speaking, you're reading it. FallRate
  22. Exactly! That's why instead of just saying "gun laws", it seems best that we identify specific laws. FallRate
  23. So that is a picture of a topless, three-year old female? That's illegal!!! FallRate
  24. True. But take for example a specific gun law which prohibits the possession of a firearm by a person previously convicted of violent crime. This law would not prevent that person from possessing a firearm. It would however provide the grounds to take the firearm away from that person. While this is a "gun control" law, it is quite different than laws which seek to ban all gun ownership in an effort to prevent prior felons (or would-be felons) from possessing guns. There are laws which apply to just about everything. The point is that placing all laws that pertain to firearms into one group is a bit myopic, and does not help to foster a meaningful debate.
