For the guy who you hand your money over to, its a brilliant course, and yes when it first started lots of students found work, mainly at the course owners DZs. others have gone on to find work at other DZs. But others have found themselves very and I mean very short of money, and NO work to pay the loans off, for the course and the gear, ie rigs. The bit of paper that says Diploma means nothing in truth. Go to a good DZ, do the aff, hang around and learn from the people who work 7 days aweek , who sit around all day when the weathers shit, learn your craft from these people, these people have nothing to sell you,

I dont have a problem with a DZ making a profit, I pay my slot, do not tell me a DZ does not make a profit on fun jumpers, and alot more with tandems, you just have to look at the way fun jumpers are pushed aside to make way for tandems. One DZ refused to let me film someone I knew, for free,; would have payed my own slot,they wanted them to pay the full DVD cost. I dont fun jump, this is my fucking job, yes I chose to get into this sport, No one pushed me, But if all you muppets are happy to keep getting fucked over by greedy DZ owners, we will all still be getting payed the same in 10 years time, it does not take a genius to work the maths out. I have never known a bigger bunch off back stabbing fuckers, they smile at your face, the hand shake in the plane, but when it comes down to money, everybody trys to fuck you over. Buy the way I have met some nice people in the sport, but few and far between.

Does anybody know of a DZ where the camerman gets all the DVD and photo money, and just pays his own slot. or most of the money, and just to add petrol to the fire, have camermen been payed a fare wage, taking into account the cost of gear, and wear and tear on gear.

Hello can you tell me if two hours in a tunnel count as air time towards my 6 hours needed for my aff instructor rating,i aleady have 200 jumps,any help would be greatful

No I do not fly with wings, I have tried them but find them to restrictive. someone once told me it is better to learn to fly without aids, I am 6ft tall slim to medium build.

I have over 2000 camera jumps filming tandems, belly to earth, but I have watched back flyers and the footage is amazing, so I have started to turn on my back, and also started to practice on solo jumpers, I feel relaxed but the wind on my legs is so strong I tend to slowly carve away from them and then have to turn and carve back to them, another problem is that when I turn from belly to back, I fall away from them, I know this if because I loose alot of surface area going onto my back, is it better to have my arms out above my heag or by my sides, the wind is so strong pushing my legs, I did only 15 min in a tunnel, not nearly long enough.. one good thing though is once on my back I stay pretty level with who ever I am filming, but when I try to rise up I can not, I hope one day soon, I will do a jump and it will happen, and I will say to myself is that all I had to do.

I got my D licence while in Australia, my Australian sporting Licence has expired and I am going to florida to jump, I will need to get a new USPA sporting Licence, the question I'm asking is, is my APF D certificate valid while holding a USPA sporting Licence in the US.

What does you DZ do about people on call, and people that sit at the DZ all day waiting to jump. I asked my DZ for a list of the tandem bookings and times, for the day, and was told I could'nt have the list, as it seems they want to keep me hanging around all day, instead of going home and being on call, I have seen this at other DZ's where they call the next man on rotation to come, instead of useing a jumper that's at the DZ and ready to go. what do you think fare, If some muppet wants to sit at a DZ all day on his arse waiting to do a jump, but I do this as a job and can think of other things to do when I don't need to be there.

what will happen to you and the tandem master and passenger, if they have a premature opening while you dock, as you come in and back off.

Do you work as a cameraman, and who does the dubbing, at your DZ, do the cameramen dub them selves, and who down loads the footage to realextreme from the camera flyers. Do they?, On a busy day jumping, packing, and dubbing and being on the next load, leaves little time. Just some of your thoughts please.

All you fulltime camermen working at busy Dz's,that are open all week, are you on a rotation system with the tandem masters, and aff instructors that can also fly camera, or are the camermen on there own rotation system, and what happen's on weekends when the part time staff turn up that can also do camera.

Hi there, at the moment with my pc101, I record a still from the memory card and then fade into what I'm recording. page 2, mem mix, m-cam chrom, and then fade in. please could someone tell me how to do this with the DCR-PC1000e. thanks.
