  5. I don't know...the PC109 has a 1/5 inch CCD and gets good results. The problem with the remote lens cam thingies I've seen is that you still need to have a camera and the goggle cam seems...costy! 8. "If you find yourself in the majority, it's time to pause and reflect" If popularity meant anything worthwhile then Motley crue and poison were the most musically talented band of the 80's. Since we now know they actually suck...in a hooky sort of way, we know that aint true. When I say "King Daddy" I speak to my personal experience, having used every one of the PC based systems listed, I find Canopus Edius to be the best....in too many areas to list. Speed of rendering and ease of use at the top. Peace! Jason Faith in a holy cause is to a considerable extent a substitute for lost faith in ourselves. -Eric Hoffer - Check out these Videos
  9. Canopus Edius is hands down, King daddy for the PC...but it costs! Unless of course you know the way of the usenet Faith in a holy cause is to a considerable extent a substitute for lost faith in ourselves. -Eric Hoffer - Check out these Videos
  10. Possible...it wasn't packed that way I'm sure. What I think happened was that as the bag came off, a stow byte grabbed some line that was coiled on the bottom of the tray, most likely when I turned the bag. It seems like an unlikely thing to have happened...but an infinite number of monkeys and all that shit. The best part about it was not an hour before this happened I was giving the RWS guy a hard time about high speed mals and the sky hook. They were doing intentional cut aways at Chicks Rock (This was where it happened) but they were all from good canopies. I told him to put a velo 90 on that bad boy, let me stall and spin it backwards and then we could see how it performs. So fate showed me through my own RSL how that shit works! I'm converted...faster is better! Peace! Faith in a holy cause is to a considerable extent a substitute for lost faith in ourselves. -Eric Hoffer - Check out these Videos

  12. Had a high speed spinning mal this week end...Got video who wants to host it? I had an RSL that worked great, I won't leave the plane without one! Faith in a holy cause is to a considerable extent a substitute for lost faith in ourselves. -Eric Hoffer - Check out these Videos

  15. Mine rocks! out loud. The only thing I didn't like was the ring site mount...It sucks! I switched to one of the twist out of the way kind and now it's absolutely the best! I have about 500 jumps on mine and it's held up real well (a few riser striks and some damn hard landings). My buddy just got his and they have refined the mount and door and it's even better. One other minor problem is with a .3 lo pro lens you can see the side of my helmet, the camera is all the way forward so that fix wont work. It's just at the edge of the fram and most people don't even really notice it. I guess if I was jumping for real money I would be jumping a different lens so it wouldn't be a problem. I started with a pc109 in it but switched to a pc1000 about 2 or 3 months ago. Switching brackets was as easy as emailing 2k giving the $8 usd and putting it on. 16. First off always get advice from people you know and trust... that said here is some advice: 1. Analog altimeters are not as good as digital low to the ground, at least that has been my LIMITED experience. 2. If you don't know the accuracy tric i.e. things going away from you off into the horizon are beyond you current glide, things getting steeper your going to overshoot. The spot not moving is where your going. This "trick" is alot harder then it sounds but practice it and play around with it and you'll get the hang of it 3. Learn to use the angles to approximate. What I did (I was shown) Was to measure the height from the ground to my eyes. Measure a spot 3 times that distance out in front of you, and to the side. This is aproximately the angle you are decending under canopy. Many things will influence this, but it is a good aproximation. Get used to sighting down this angle and you have a starting point to reference where you are going. Hope this helps and remember, get advice from someone you know/trust! Peace! 17. Nice...I will say that the internal battery and time on the battery doesn't bother me, I just got two and swap them when I need to. I got a charger for them and when I take one out I start a charge on the other. As for the low light thing, I like to do my home porn with the lights on. The touch screen works great for me as the only time I really use it is on the ride to alti. I can't speak to what a working camera flyer needs, but if your a typical freeflying jackass like myself, the camera has no equal. The vid I have got off it is...breathtaking. Your review is killer by the way...could you do the HC90 next? Faith in a holy cause is to a considerable extent a substitute for lost faith in ourselves. -Eric Hoffer - Check out these Videos
