  1. No. Good one after reading #2. Since this guy is not gonna die, that would be wrong, considering that some other poor sap may die in the next few minutes and give up the same tissues. This is easier then the train wreck one. It would be a crime to kill him just to let 10 others live. The train wreck scenerio is different in my book. Trying to put it into words is proving hard without contradicting myself. It's the fact that all 11 on the train tracks going to be victims of a tragic accident. You are making a choice to make it less tragic. This guy is not in mortal danger and should not be put down just to save the other 10, since he is not in any real danger to start with. Dom
  2. Wanna bet. We are living in a world of lawyers. The thing is you would probably get sued either way. At least if you save the 10 , you are only gonna get sued by one person. Dom
  3. Straight from Websters Is it better to sit back and do nothing then to try and do something. It is pretty obvious that someone is going to die. I just think I woud rather try and save 10. Dom
  4. By taking no action, you are deciding the outcome. Dom
  5. This is kinda like a story I heard once about a man that took his son and his son's friend sea fishing. A big storm came through and the son and his friend were washed over board. The father only had one life preserver and could only save one of the boys. He thought about it for a second and yelled out to his son that he loved him and then threw the preserver to the son's friend. Why? Because the father and son were Christian's and he knew his son woud go to heaven. The son's friend was not and the father figured he would try and save the friend so he could become Christian and then get into heaven. The story goes on to reveal that the guy telling the story is a minister and was also the friend. I say let the one guy die and save the other 10. Now if I am the one guy, then I better save myself cause I am not so sure were I am going to end up yet. Dom
  6. Hey I'll get ya a cheap deal on a canopy! All ya have to do is work up a good sweat withme and it's all good. Oh yeah, I take pictures to for our discount web site! They go on our customers in action page. For the record this is not the policy of SQ1 or it's owners. Just me! Dom
  7. The scary part is the guy that landed cross behind you. HOw f-ing aware was he? I am still trying to find out who it was for sure. Dom
  8. I'm not afraid to admit if I made a mistake. I can guarantee that it would have been an honest one. I just think Kbone is full of it. He likes to stir the pot more then I do. The only problem is he lies when doing it (at least in this case). Notice he hasn't replied back still. Dom
  9. Hey guys! Mj is really helping people with this camp. I see him every weekend (well almost every weekend) at Perris working with people and really helping them out. Great camp and it's free. For those of you that want to learn good basic 4 way skills. Get those exits down and learn some more advanced flying this is the camp for you. I always here people say how coaching is expensive (it is!) and ya can't afford it. Here is a very experienced jumper that dedicates most of his time to giving free coaching and advice to newbies. You asked for it and now you have it. Take advantage of the offer. Keep it up MJ. Dom
  10. For the record. I have found only one Mike that has bought has a Crossfire2 129 since I have been working at Sq1. He didn't buy it from me. He bought it from our DZ store. He is also a very good friend of our old manager at the DZ store. This was a supervised sale. Meaning that he demonstrated to our sales staff that he was competent at that wingloading. This means that he insisted that he have that canopy and was watched demoing it by our staff and they thought he would be fine to handle the wingloading. If this is the same Mike I think you are wrong about his jump numbers as well. THis guy posts here from time to time and I am going to see if he wants to put his .02 in here. I also think that you tend to try and stir the pot a bit. Funny that you can't except PM's. WHy is that? If you won't give up this Mike's last name then I call B.S. on your story. Dom
  11. Well you are one of the few that has good things to say about this dealer. I have to think theres a spin on your info.... This sounds totally out of character if your talking about the Ralph I know. Quote If you notice not once did I say the name of this dealer. Others new exactly who I was talking about. If you have had good dealings with him, then more power to you. I wish you many more years of good business with him. You are the minority. Dom
  12. Hey, I said I am not perfect, and I probably tried to talk him out of it. He may have told me different jump numbers. What is his last name and I will tell you exactly what the converstation was that we had. I keep notes on everything like that. Give me his last name. Dom

    Horny

This thread may have made men horny just by having the word in the title. But Sunny is way to worked up for her own good! Dom
  16. Every DZ and every part of the country is different when it comes to gear. People are real loyal for the most part. I remember when I first started jumping at Perris and I was theonly one with an Infinity (this was in 1995). Some people actually laughed at me and said I would get smart soon and buy a Javelin. They just didn't know the rig. Now you see Infinity's all over the place. Buy what appeals to you. All the manufactures are putting out reall good products and they are all safe. Sure company X may have a feature that you really like. Or, you may just think it looks better. What ever. People that say you should only jump this or that are limiting themselves and those that listen to them. Try as much different gear as you can. Then you will see what fits you and the way you fly the best. Dom
  17. Wow! I missed this thread. Hugs and vibes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dom
  18. A little macaroni with your flu shot sir. It is great warmed up! Dom
  19. Nahh. I hate the news. I do watch it from time to time, but it is just to depressing. It is much more painless to read it, cause I can shut my eyes when I get scared and don't have to hit the mute button at the same time to get rid of the voices. I said I didn't know much about it. Just assuming why they didn't di what they didn't do. You know what they say about assuming. Dom
  20. Get a room you two. I am getting jealous! Bill aren't you married? Leave Keely to us single guys. Oh, wait she is married too. The both of are off to hell then. Hey Keely need a ride? Dom

    Pizza !

Perry's Pizza in Newport Beach right by the Pier. That is best pan Pizza I have ever had. Maybe it is the fact I ate so much of it as a kid and have lot;s of memories standing in line. It was the big thing as a kid. We got more excited about getting Perry's then going to the beach. Dom
  23. Kinky! we all move in unison and Karen (camera) watches more for the swing of 3 (mine are inside the plane) sets of hips....than for the shake. Quote PJ you are making this to easy. Dom
  24. You will be in IRR. Not draft status. BIG difference. Talk to you re-enlistment NCO. See what he has to say about your status in IRR when you get out. SOmeone else posted on here how guys reenlist in IRR and didn't even realize when they did it. Dom
