Saw that a few months ago (not on dz.com). STill funny though Dom

Brian Johnson on Airspeed has a really cool program he came up with that tracks just about every type of stat you can think off. We saw them using it at the Valentines meet. I believe he only wants 70 dollars for it. It is worth the money. To be honest I am not sure if it tracks the break time on the hill, but I bet ya it does. Contact him through the Airspeed web site. Dom

Call me crazy, but I like a little bit of seperation at break off. Dom

Not the same. I really liked the Elsinore meet. It had a lot of varity in it. The Rumbleseat is more straight forward. No show exit and first two out the door are base pin. Meaning they must form a 2way before anyone else docks on them. Up until this year it was all about the speed star. This year they added the bonus points like at the Snore. Dom
-
WOW!!!!!!! That is cool Chelle! You are creative. Miss you! Dom
-
You can't do this from 5k. 1st pic one of the bonus blocks from Rumble seat. I think this is the close of the block. The second pic is from the same jump and below the formation. This was our 11 second round. Actually 17 but take off the 6 seconds for the entire block. Dom

THey are for sure out of business. Just talked to Jim again yesterday. Arrow Dynamics is done. Dom

Let me clarify boring. After the excitment and rush of building the star, I need something else to for the rest of the skydive. Don't get me wrong I like 10 way, I just don't like burning up altitude after the star is done. Hell ya worked hard to build it quick. Might as well do something with the time left, other then stare a the likes of you across the formation! Dom

The Star is still the main thing. Exit is the same. To be honest buliding a start and holding it is a bit boring Spark. The Lodi Crew wasn't happy and after seeing the way they flew I know why. We had to make sure we beat them without the bonus seconds so they couldn't complain anymore then they did already. Dom

Maybe up on the PErris site still? The rules changed this year. No show exit. 1st point is the speed star, must be held for 5 seconds. Bonus points were added this year. So after the star is built. You hold it for 5 seconds. There is a bonus block at the end. Take off 3 seconds for the top of the block and 3 seconds for the close of the block. All this has to be done in 50 seconds of working time. Dom

Or next time we just pay better attention. It's funny how we can all hold on to name and call it ours. Dom

We were sitting around trying to come up with a fancy name for a storm....... Hurricane, Typhoon...... We decided to go simple and just say Storm. Well about 10 minutes after the team numbers are drawn. Andy Delk comes up and tell us about Elsinore Storm. We offered to change it right away. After the 1st few rounds we had his blessing. Then after round 4 I think they wanted it back. Talk about putting it out there. Todd Hawkins was also on that team. He and Andy had a bit of fun with us. It's al good. Dom
-
Damn Andi, now there goes all the mystery! Dom
-
Did you? Dom
-
Geez! He had sent me an email and I responded to it. It was easier to say PM'd then to type all your names. Dom

Look for the SSL video's as soon as they are posted. Both pieces go forward. The front piece turns pretty much on it's center point while tail goes over the top and the back piece shears it to save on the 540. From IC it feels a lot like block 21. At least this is the way Airspeed Odyssey did it. I think Velocity may have done it a bit different. I guess they wanted to see which team could turn faster times. Dom
-
What if it was the other way around? Block 12 is way fun and fast as well. We scored a 14 in Rd 2. M-O-G-12. I am sure they will post that round so everyone can see the way the big boys are doing it. Dom

I used to have a problem in the tunnel. Little tight butts drive me nuts! Dom

Chuck never made me a Monkey. Even though I clearly out lasted him last time he was in town. but I'll be around this weekend as well. Rumble Seat meet this Saturday. Dom

That is going to happen anyway. Who is coaching them while they are here? If it is Dan or one of his PPP Boys or (girls) there is a lot they are not going to know at first. AS far a 4 way video. It needs to be straight over the top and close. Camera person just needs practice to get used to that. Also the team plays a big part in how good the video is. If they learn to fall straight down, then the camera flyer wil be able to get the right angles. If they are moving around the sky then they are only going to get a real high view and a bunch of bad angles. Dom

Plus she is way cute. Dom
