Who was next to ya Mary? To be honest it looks like he is having an equipment malfunction. See how his hands aren't really in the Mantis. Almost looks like he is fixing his wind shield. More the fact that the FAA keeps making them jump through more hoops. The hardest part is to find out what hoops they must jump through. Then they do and are given more hoops. The FAA is really stalling them. If they (FAA) do nothing then nothing happens and they have no fault "IF" something where to go wrong. At least that is the way I see it. Dom

I am sorry you took it as a slam. Not my intention at all. I do have a clue as to what you envision. In fact I have seen it done and it is a cool thing. For the record. The back flying thing is not a new idea. A good one, just not new. I have an old video called California Skydive. Most of it was shot at Perris in the 80's. Has some really cool footage of 4 way back flying. Turning points and having a blast. I want to see this work as well. Just want to keep it in peoples minds that things can go bad in this type of jump pretty quickly. Don't know why you got defensive. Sorry. Dom

I am not much of a Free Flyer at all, so if Missy or someone with her experiance and knowledge wants to correct me then I will not argue the point, but........ I think this is not something that newer Free Flyers should get into right away. From my experiance this is dangerous. Even in the tunnel. Lot's of things can go wrong when you start adding vertical hops and take peoples air from them. Speed changes a lot and the control you need to maintan levels and eye contact when going over another person is difficult. I watch the Free Flyers in our group really struggle at times and these are not just any Free Flyers. Chris Fiala and David Gershfeld are not the worst you will ever meet to say the least. Not saying that it shouldn't be a goal for them to strive for, but lot's of time to work up to it in a safe manner. Dom

We have been doing that in the tunnel a lot lately. Some of the sessions we have done included 3 belly and 1 head down. We where very happy with they way that turned out. We where able to pull vertical transitions (block 6 and block 17 in the 4 way dive pool) Last session we had 2 and 2(1 head down and one standing) and pulled off some fun 6's as well. Along with some random points. I have video but in the wrong format to share online. I am trying to get a hold if the guy that has it on his computer to share with you guys. For those of you that were at the Film Festival last year you may have seen some of it. David Gershfeld entered a video that had some of the first sessions we did on it. I thought it would get a better response from the Free Flyers but it didn't. Surprised me. I had tons of fun doing it and we are goin to do more of it this year. Come to the Hybrid Challenge this year at Perris. Dom

What did you give up for skydiving

I gave up everything old and got much better back in return. Sydiving helped me to reaffirm that happiness is what is important, not money and status. My life is now simple and I smile a lot more then I used to. Dom -

Very fun night!!!!!! Good to see you there Keith. a few times I thought I was in a real casino. My plams got all sweaty and I started to fidget with my chips at the Black Jack table. Seems to me all he needs to prove is that he wasn't anywhere near her when the child was conceived. If he can show and prove that he wasn't with her and having sex with her at the time she got pregnant then he coud win. My ex-wife got pregnant while we where seperated waiting on our divorce.. She didn't tell me and was going to the Military hospital using her ID card to get pre natal care. Once I found out and was able to prove that I was in Germany and she was in the states at the time of conception and I was free and clear. Dom

Birth control or not, you play the game ou take the chances. DO if you are using birth control and there is vaginal penetration that results in pregnancy, then you get what you get and deal with it. Now, getting a blow job? That woman went out of her way to use his spream. Sneeky bitch. I feel bad for the kid and the guy. I can see how this would cause problems for the guy. Now he has to deal with this child for the rest of his life and by all rights he shouldn't have one. Tricky situation. I guess the definition of a father is in question here. Technically he is the dad, but the way she got pregnant........... I agree with what someone else posted. He may as well have donated to a sperm bank. I don't think he shoudl be responsilbe for that child in anyway what so ever. I think the mother should be made to treat this just like she got sperm from the bank and had a baby on her own. I think she had a lot of nerve sueing him for child support. Dom

It is best stored in your gear bag and no where near you rig. That thing is better used on the ground. It is a hazard on your rig. Sorry Aubrey! It is the truth. Those things scare me!!!!!!! If you haven' seen one you woudn't understand. Dom
