Not what i meant at all. It is just so big at Perris and it can be hard for some to break in. You did fine. Smaller DZ's are more like a real family in most cases and they are always looking for a new brither or sister to play with. Dom

Good point about turning away. I used to sink out so bad at the beginning of the break off and that sucks on a 100 way. I used to think I was a good tracker until I saw Mark Tennison and John Appleton(rip)smoke my ass on a big way. I was embarrased to be honest. They had me right from the 180 turning away. Mark told me to stop doing knee turns on the 180. Just push away and cup air as you turn. Then work into it (the track).Since then I have gotten much better still need some work, but I am above 95% of the people on most dives I am on now. Still gotta work more though. Dom

Evelyn, you will have friends there. If you get to shy come by the Aerodyne both and you can hang out with me. I will then of course introduce you to as many people as possible. You will fit in fine. If you can make friends at Perris and you can make friends anywhere!

I have found forme it works better to close all the way up get the butt up in the air and turn the booties out. IMHO it works different for diferent body types, but most of the people that smoke me while tracking seem to be closed up as well. I see a lot of free fliers tracking in a real wide stance on tracking dives, but I think most of them do it because they are trying to stay with the people that don't track as well as the rest. Dom
