    How does that makeher different then 99% of skydivers?!??!? I agree. I am all for people over coming and sticking to there goals, but this port wasn't for her (IMHO). I think the broken legs kinda shows that. I doubt she was swooping when it happened. It seemd like to much of a struggle for her. Like she was an incident waiting to happen. She spent a lot of time bitching about her insturctors and trying to find the right one to help her get through it all. I mean geez can they all be that bad? When do you start to look at yourself and say "Hey, I suck at this and this is not for me?" She shoulchave taken the hint from the ones that didn't want to work with her anymore. Dom

    did you like the part where they kited the canopies off the roof and into the back of the truck? Kate was a part of that. My favorite part was when Swoop based off the building. Dom

    For the record. i am not telling anyone they need tojump without an altimeter. That is up to the jumper and if they do so, when is up to them. 50 jumps seems like it isn't a lot of time to get your enternal clock set. They are still learning so much at that time. Dom

    I have one. They do well in freefall but the biggest problem withthem is that the buttons are so big they get pushed when I person takes grips and then you are looking at Barometer pressure! I don't use any visual now. I always turn to track just as my audible goes off. I get pissed when it beats me to the punch. Dom

    Out of all the skydiving movies it is the best one. One of my bosses did stunts for it. I watch it from time to time. Way better then Cutaway. Dom

    So far no problems. Eloy, Perris and Elsinore. In fact I don't think I have ever used one at Elsinore and I only go to Eloy for competitons. I'll let ya know when I start traveling later this year. I never look at the ground dring free fall. I make sure I know where I am before we get out and from there....well air is air. I am usually tracking away right as my my audible goes off. On landing I have never used an alitmeter to judge when to turn for final (except as a student) I have always done it with my eyes. every place I have ever jumped. Even when I was up in WA. state.     We where in that boat last year. Very bad stuff. It cost us a lot of points on exit. Tha sucks for those teams. It will cost them. Shooting 4way is not the same as going out and just getting whatever when you freefly. Just becuase someone wheres a camera doesn't make them a true video flyer. Dom

    I thinkit is fun to mess with tandem or AFF students. I keep asking them over and over "What altitude are we at?" The look on their faces when I tell them I don't have one is always funny. Dom

    Sometimes it is funy to me. I will be on the plane and look around to see what altitude we are at and nobody near me has one. Seems to be a 4way thing for the most part. Hardly anyone wears one (except camera). Dom

    I had an opening so hard once, that I don't remeber the first 10 or 15 secinds under canopy. My buddy said he heard it in freefall it opened so hard. Nothing broken on canopy and lande fine. Most likely I forgot to unstow my slider!!!! It was sotwed when I looked up after coming to. So i thing that is what happened. Dom

    THey had one at Knotts Berry farm out here in CA. I remember as a kid screaming for my life as the dropped us to what I thought was my death!!! Dom

    The speed on the two canopies is about the same. The difference you are preceiving is because of the trim of the canopy. The Sabre2 dives more then the Pilot sinc wthe Pilot is trimmed flater(SP). So witht the Sabre you are seeing the ground rush at you faster then the Pilot. Although you are doing roughly the same forward speed. So in your opinion what is the better canopy for you? Dom

    Just watched the some video of AS Velocity in the new skyventure. They did block's 1, 13 and 8 in there! Ok so maybe 2 ft. did make a big difference! They also say that bloack 10 ca't be dine in the other tunnels. Yes it can. Random G also can be done in the other tunnels......... but it loooks much easier in the AZ tunnel for sure. I am officially jealous. Dom
