    hmmm...

You want to know how used the picture? Ask U2boy14. He posted in the Blueskies thread asking for people to interview about the incident. He is a reported for the OC Register Dom
  2. Ok, that is your right to think so. TO be honest, any person that has the ambition to be president would probably not be in that type of job anyway. They would probably have a college degree and be an officer. In charge of service men and women, making decisions that potentially could mean the difference between life and death. Learning the whole time what it means to be a soldier and as a result appreciating the lessons they learned while serving and using those lessons when it comes time to make a decision as CINC that that not only effect the country but also the very lives of the people that they are sending off to fight. Dom
  3. Again, read what I said and not what you are trying to make it out to be. The role they would serve is not the important part. The FACT that they served would be enough. your top reply that women couldnt serve in wars is so completely wrong. Granted, back in the day, they were not given a gun and told to go shoot someone. They did in fact Serve During a war. I would rather that person see what the results are before they send someone to war. Potentially know that "it could have been them" Dom
  4. There is enough info in this alone to make any sane person see that he did not complete his service. That he did disappear from duty and that it was covered up. As for you co workers that are on leave. If they are on leave, they are not deserters. Dom
  5. Wasnt speaking of Clinton, but he had his issues as well. I dont care what his (bush) official record says. He went AWOL and did not complete his service. If I or any other service member had pulled the number he did. We would have done time in jail and been labeled a deserter. Dom
  6. I would not have handled it the way she did. Family, friends is the route I would have went if in that position. For me it comes down to personal responsibility. She chose to jump with no insurance and then wants others to help her pay for her injuries. Doesnt sit well with me. She should have either had the correct insurance of not made the jumps. Or excepted the responsibility and lived with her choice. Dom
  7. Your right, maybe that wasnt the best way to put that. I should have said the CINC. HE in fact is a deserter and should have done jail time. Dom
  8. Its like any other job. You take the BEST qualified and to me and I believe many other Americans. They person best qualified for the job should have experience in all aspects of that job. No 2nd or lower class is created. If you want to be president, then serve your country first. I do strongly relate to people in the military and also know that just because a person serves in the military does not make them better then the next person. In fact a lot of people join because that is the only life they are fit for. But those that would aspire to be President would be better prepared for the job and fully understand the gravity of what they are doing by sending someone to war. I do think there would be less fighting as a result. Dom
  9. Again. I stand by my belief. Times are different now. Back then, if and when we went to war. I think that it was actually in the defense of our country and to establish our way of life. These days, we go to war more to impose our beliefs on others and to protect corporate and political interests. The military is one of our strengths. To bad the current civilians that run our Govt are one of our biggest weaknesses. Dom
  10. Are you intentionally not reading what I said? I NEVER said they had to be a nurse. I simply used that as an example. I never said that they had to have any specific job what so ever. Not sure why you are caught up on a certain occupation. I guess that is a difference of opinion. I dont see it as a waste of time. Even if there is no actual conflict, they will get a lot from the experience. Not trying to knock those that havent served, but if you had served you would know what I mean. It is like joining a brotherhood. Before I ever went off and got shot at, I knew what war could do to people. Kind of hard not to when you see older soliders walking around post with severe burns from phosphorus grenades that look like someone scooped the back of their neck out. Things like that open your eyes real quick. Sure you can watch a movie or something on History channel and see what war can do. But until you know the people that these things happened and then realize that it really could be you, or the new nest friend that you have just spend 6 months training with. It is not the same. Dom
  11. Very true. Somehow though I doubt very much that if those type of brains were to serve in the military they would be serving in the infantry. Very unlikely Dom
  12. I stand by my belief. Maybe I wasnt clear enough in my post. I didnt mean or say that they had to be a nurse. Just stating a fact that the older women in politics, if they had served, would have been in that type of a job. I also never said that they had to serve in an actual conflict. Simple active duty service would be enough for me. ok Dom
  13. Actually Your response is incorrect now that I have thought about it again. Women have served in the Active Duty Military for a long long long long time. Funny thing is most of the olders ones would probably have been nurses or admin jobs. If one that served as a nurse were to become president. I bet she would think long and hard before sending someone off to die for there country. Dom
  14. I dont see it as diminishing the pool, but more narrowing it down to the best possible candidates. His AWOL status should have ended in a desertion, which is a federal felony (if I am not mistaken) thus he would not have been eligible to run for president. You are right about this statement. I just want to add that in my opinion, there isnt a republican out there that could have won this election. In my mind, the election was over for the republicans before it even started. That only question was, would we have a woman or an african american Dom
  15. As long as they werent assholes. lol oh wait. That describes most of us that served. Dom
  16. BTW Jobing is like monster, but.... you can call and talk to them and they will actually help you get in contact with the right people. They dont just post ads online. They do a lot more for you Dom
  17. I used to live in Orlando and work for a company called jobing.com that is why I asked. They do not have services up that way though. Sorry. Nursing is good to get into in Florida though. I worked with a lot of HR Directors when I worked at jobing.com and they are in NEED of them. So if and when you finish nursing school you should have no trouble getting a job. I am sure you will do your homework, but watch out for the insurance sales jobs in Florida. I looked into many of them and there are a lot of really shitty jobs in that field. Check out jobing.com though they may have a company that posts in one of there other locations that has work up north though. Dom
  18. What area of FLorida are you moving to and what do you do for a profession? Dom
  19. That is fact. Had I or any other soldier pulled that they would have been charged. But then again, we dont have the daddy he has. Dom
  20. We will just have to agree to disagree on that. No where did Amazon act or say anything to deserve that comment. Dom
  21. Of course I know this, but you asked for proof that he is a chicken. I think that makes him a chicken. Bush 1, had a plan during the 1st Gulf War. We had a defined mission and once that mission was over we got out. just like we should have. He also has Colin Powell (one of the best military leaders of our time) to help keep him on track in that regard. Clinton at least didnt get us into a false war. Junior....well...... he is junior and you see where he got us. As far as Obama. I hope that he ends up having the sense that Junior lacks. I wont judge him until he gives us something to judge him on. For the record. I do think that a requirement to be President of the US, should be to have served on Active duty in the Armed Forces. Gives them something to think about before they decide to send our countries youth off to die. Dom
  22. You are out of line there. Way out of line. Dom
  23. I agree, but I would rather have a president that lied about a blow job, then one that lied about why he took our country to war. Dom
