On my 100th skydive. At about 2500 ft or so the engine started making noises and sputtering. It was a 182 and of course very tight. Pilot looked at me and said to get out. I opened the door and exited. Pulled my main right away and watched for the other 3 jumpers to exit. To my surprise. They reached out and closed the door!! Pilot turned around and started circling me, as they all waved at me. Then they climbed to 10.5 and had a great 3 way. Fuckers!! Happy 100th. Dom

100% correct! But....... what if after that accident, there was a physical altercation? Maybe she was at fault (or not) and the person that she hit got out and assualted her? That kind of thing happens all the time. Hell I saw a guy on the subway just a few days ago, sitting there minding his own business. There was a guy standing right in front of him and kept stepping on the guy sitting downs feet. There was plenty of room on the train and a ton of open seats, but this guy had to stand right in front of the other guy for whatever his reason. the guy sittting down politely asked the other guy to move so he didnt step on his feet anymore and the other dude snapped. GOt in his face and started yelling at the top of his lungs. Threating to break his jaw and even to kill him. Hell I was sitting way on the other end of the train and was scared for the dude. Everyone got up and crammed into the back of the train to get away from what was coming. Next thing you know, the poor guy is getting his ass beat thankfully for him, people stepped in to helped the man but not before he was damn near unconsious. I can help but think that if this bully was afraid of getting his ass shot, he may not have attacked the man and just simply did the rational thing and moved over or sat down. Dom -

Then she is breaking the law and should pay the price for that. Somehow I dont think that is the case though. I bet she knows the gun laws and doesnt do stuff like that. Dom -

I dont know, maybe ask them? Or if you are afraid to speak up, then call the police and let them handle it. Do you think a criminal that is not supposed to have a gun is really going to walk around with it out in the open????? That is kinda of my point. People area freaking out about her and she is law abidding. It is the hidden threat that the criminals present that you should be worried about. Dom -
Was this part of the quote? The reason I ask is that because of how young Caylee was. It is normal for some of her bones to pebble sized. Especially in her hands and feet. I have been watching on CNN and they spoke about that fact and that is one of the reasons they are taking so long at the site. They expected to find bones that small. NOt trying to take the heat off the mom at all. Just saying that I dont think she beat the child or crushed her bones. Seems the "experts" are still thinking that she killed her by trying to put her to sleep with the chloroform. Dom

I know about the glocks safety, but it can still happen if the kids get there fingers in there. Or she gets something else stuck in there. I am all for people carrying weapons legally, but I also think that she should take EVERY precaution just to make sure. Dom -

Obviously you dont like hand guns, and you have the right not to carry one. She has the right to do so and should be allowed to if she wants too. She is not the enemy. It still kills me that people get so upset about people that legally carry guns. They are not the problem. It is the criminals that are the problem not law abiding citizens. You attack her intelligence based on your fear hand guns. The only problem I have with it is that she needs a better holster. She should keep the trigger covered and have a strap on it so that it doesnt get pulled accidentally or fall out and somehow go off. You shouldnt be worried about her, you should worry about the thug on the street that has a handgun or knife hidden away and is going to use it to rob and kill you. I laughed at a quote in that article that said she has nothing to worry about going to a 5 year olds soccer game. That person obviously lives in a bubble. Innocent people get beat or killed all the time at youth sporting events. Dom -
I haven seen and pop ups yet, but....... here is a quote from HH in the announcements forum Dom

Maybe I am mis-reading the tone of your post, but it comes across a bit condescending. If that was not your intent then I apologies. I have heard many Christians talk that way in the past though. Once they find out that you dont believe in the bible, they tend to look down on you. That doesnt sound very Christian to me. Dom

dgskydive replied to dgskydive's topic in The Bonfire
I dont have kids either....with that being said. I think you are right though. I will say this though. My parents are great people and had a hell of a time with me growing up. So it isnt all the parents fault. Some kids are going to do what they want no matter what. Dom -
THats the one. Thanks Dom

I did see a word in the buddhist glossary (having trouble finding it again), that talked about choosing to hold off Nirvana and allowing themselves to be reincarnated to come back and help others achieve Nirvana. So maybe you are right. This has gotten me interested in Buddhism though. Lots of reading ahead. Since I am in NYC and looking for a job. I think I may have some time on my hands to learn a bit more Dom
